Quasar RDA (clone) serious "loose-post" problem! Please, share some help.

Hello ECF!

I am having an issue with my Quasar clone.. One of my negative posts is loose, it freely spins around and it can even detach itself from the whole rda base. This is really frustrating as I'm unable to build properly my coils. Any time I attempt to tie down my coil, the whole post starts spinning and my coil gets ruined.. When I first noticed, was like, what the hell and actually tried to detach that post from the base, all it took was my bare hands and just a little bit of force and it was out. I was under the impression the posts were screwed down the base, but thats not the case..

Is there any way to actually fix that or the whole thing goes out of my windows, shall I say ?

The negative posts are probably press fitted like many atty's. I had this issue on an old 5H1tty trident v1 clone. Negative post spun on arrival, posts were chrome plated brass, air holes didn't line up, so I trashed it asap. I doubt there's any fix. To the epoxy suggestion - Wouldn't using any non conductive adhesive be a bad idea to use for connecting a negative post to the deck? The risk of a hard short or vaping epoxy isn't worth it either. Same goes for solder I would guess because of it's low melting point?

Unless you can somehow magically weld this negative post to the deck I'd say just keep it as a single coiler.

Edit: If it came like this on arrival I'd try to return it, and check out the vendor's return/exchange policy.

Edit #2: Op just made me find this. Didn't even know this exists. But hey I don't know anything about welding.

Take the post out.
Take a punch to the edge circumference of the hole - tap lightly with a hammer.
This should make the hole slightly smaller.
Then hammer your post back in (make sure your post hole is facing the right way).

I have used a very small dab of super glue on the very tip of the bottom of a post before.
So long as the sides are making contact with the deck, it will still be conductive.
But using a punch is more effective.
