Sorry if I'm being naive, but what do you mean by "resting state?" I'm out of town now, but still looking forward to experimenting with the QoH when I get back. I dripped it on a dual micro coil Igo-W4 with cotton at about 0.93 ohms with an 18490 in a Tree of Life mech mod. Thanks for the extra tank refills, Clark!

When we are developing new flavors we look at the liquid over the life-span. Every liquid goes through a metamorphosis of sorts - it's rapid for the first few days/weeks (depending on the liquid)... it eventually "comes to rest." When we flavor liquid, we do it based on the "resting state" (where does it land, essentially). It's a conscious effort to ensure your bottle doesn't steep into a bloody mess - the kind of due-diligence that some manufacturers neglect because it takes lots of a precious commodity... time.

The short of it is, ordering a "new liquid" that's been tested for anything less than 60 days, and by any fewer than a dozen people - crap shoot. You might be stumbling into a liquid that's great fresh but turns into a hot mess, or a liquid that is a train-wreck from the start, turns into a gem for a window of opportunity, and then goes south... OR (what we try to achieve)... a liquid that is "good" fresh, but exceptional once it hits it's resting state (and beyond).

He only has a polished LP Grand on the site. I should message him to find out if he has anything else. :)

You're more of a tumbled type I think. :) Tell em to throw that polished one in the dryer on low heat with a pocket full of change.

LOL - maybe he'll let it go as a blem' if it doesn't work out!

I couldn't see the blem on the green blem I got from you for the first few months... there are some swirls on the paint job. Eh - I like blems - they have personality. I'm a blem - true story. :)

I think there was a tiny imperfection in the paint that you really had to look for. He's a lot like you. He won't let anything out the door if it's not right, and if, by chance, there is a problem he'll take care of it. Good synergy.

Still have over half that bottle left and it's tasting mighty good right now!

Haven't tried Grape Ape but Hummingbird is unbelievable! I killed a protank mini worth of it in less than 2 hours, which is something I've never done before. Nearly OD'd on nic at 6mg! Couldn't stop myself. Had to change flavors just to regain control. >_<'

Just tried the Queen and I can kinda taste the watermelon! Guess this one sort of works for me. :)

Watermelon is a "light" flavor in nature, but QoH (to me) is unnaturally strong. I'd even go so far to say that QoH is more flavorful than Hummingbird for most?

That's good news! It tastes amazing to me, I do agree it could be a bit stronger without hurting anything though. I feel like I can taste the flesh of the watermelon, or the seeds. I do like Grape Ape a little bit better, but both are outstanding.

This is good feedback - 2 for "could be stronger without being distracting" (noted)

My first impressions are the same, but my order got here so fast that I didn't have a open device to taste da' Bird "clean". QOH is just about right as far as a watermelon flavor. If you go stronger, you may un-balance the flavors and push it towards being artificial.

Would increase the steep time also - super-fresh it does have a chemical'ish undertone - it recedes rather quickly though (48 hours) at the current concentration. It's not like the bakery vapes that take inordinate amounts of time (weeks, sometimes months) to really "peak".

Please don't value my opinion too highly for fruit vapes. I'm one of those people who can't taste a lot of fruit flavors in elquids (like Betelgeuse). The simple fact that I can slightly taste the watermelon in QoH is enough for me. The issue is with my own compatibility with these flavors, not the eliquid. Can't taste apple, banana, orange, strawberry, mango or raspberry properly either.

I can taste the lychee very clearly in Hummingbird. So far pineapple and lychee are the only fruit flavors that I can definitively taste. I can't quite taste the cranberry "fruit" in Hummingbird either, although it's tartness shines through. QoH is a nice flavor but Hummingbird is amazing! Will reorder... soon.

I was thinking the same thing, as Keith, any more and it might be unrealistic. I actually added 10% watermelon I had left over from the dark days before I found Nicoticket. Of course it was an artificial watermelon, which isn't that bad for me. The mixture wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything QOH.

With QOH and GA, I did get the chemical undertones like Clark said until I let them breathe. With GA, even after 24 hours with the cap off and another day or two of shaking and breathing, I was still like what is this stuff. But now I can't get enough of GA, I feel like a runaway car with the accelerator stuck down, out of control and going faster and faster. I can't stop once I pick it up.

For me, like I said a little stronger wouldn't be a negative for me, but I trust the master. Maybe stronger would make it worse, and to be honest, they are both about perfect. I gave my friend 10ml, so I still have about 160ml left of pure vaping bliss between both QOH and GA.

These short-runs are "finished" but they are still very much up for possible revision if/when they came out again. I take feedback pretty well (I like to think, anyway). Good/bad/indifferent - every opinion counts in my book.

Well, if it is the feedback from very few people that don't taste it as much, and it is overwhelming others, I think that feedback could be more easily discarded. :)

Anyway, sorry to bump the thread, but I would like to update my previous comments. QOH definitely has enough flavor for me (I DID order more yesterday) I think maybe it is just so much more realistic than other watermelons that I expect it to get my salivary glands going just like real life watermelon.

I do think that maybe I can't taste a part of the juice that others can, as even at 25 watts, I get absolutely no candy taste, although the flavor does change. All I get is the most natural organic flavor imaginable. I sometimes get a little magnolia flavor mixed in? Who knows. Other vendors watermelon always overwhelms me, and this one is very subtle, just like watermelon in real life. It really is such a pure and quality flavor. Glad I've still got 170ml left to vape!

Born on 03/18 and this is really, really nice now.

Using just a mini PT2 30ga with cotton at 1.4 on a spinner at 3.4v (8.2w) (I'm at work) and it's making my cheeks watery. Dripped it earlier at 16w and I dunno, the lower wattage and cooler taste on this one really makes a big difference for me. Not overpowering on the watermelon and very juicy, for want of a better term. I get a very slight lemon aftertaste and zero floweriness or chemical taste now.

Overall it's delicious and imo, has benefited enormously from a month of resting. Good stuff.
