the 6amp beast pushes my 1.5 dual coils hard, and to answer the question about leaking.. it doesnt leak. ever. use the 'flanged' cartos with a hole punch and ur good. Kalamazoo vapor shop ships FAST. great guys.
they sell cartos that fit flush with the tank, i just had some xtra XL cartos layin around.

Stealth Vape is the best! I recently went out to dinner and stealth vaped in the bathroom. Ya it's kinda nasty but my in laws do not know I smoke

Where are you buying carto's for the shorty tanks btw? What's size of the cartos 40mm?

The Vision Nanos are super tiny. I've used one on my ProThingy mini and it looked like a little straw. I was surprised at how well it performed for me (YMMV), and I had another one I threw into the bottom of my purse and it didn't leak.
my buddy recommended the IGO-L but I have no experience with dripping.
I would rather have a real short tank. Again, I don't mind refilling all the time. I just want something short and doesn't leak.

Ocelot, thanks but I am not concerned with the diameter of the tank. My mini vivi nova's look the same as the vision nano (except the diameter).
Why bother with a tank at all? Get a super short carto. Personally I'd recomend the Smoktech LR XL (1.8 ml) as a leakproof pocket device.

I've never tried a super shorty carto. How often do you have to re-fill it? Can you buy a tank to go over the super shorty carto???

Super shorties must be topped off constantly. I'd only recommend them for tasting new juices and tossing. No, most carto tanks fit XL cartos.

There are tanks that take 35mm cartos, but from my experience the tanks are fatter. When you asked about a tank for the shorty carto I pondered the idea of something that could be modding to make one, but then it occurred to me that given the size, punching a shorty for a tank without damaging it might be difficult.

This is the one I have that uses 35mm, It's the super economy model, but I know he sells other ones that take 35mm - it will be listed in the product descriptions: Triple V Jumbo - 5ml Tank
So I would be using the super shorty cart as a drip? Again, it's not a tank. My friends recommdation with the IGO-L seems like a better idea. if I wanna go in that direction... thanks again.

Just use a decent XL carto . No tank. Jeez... An XL cartomizer is 9mm wide and 45mm long. The 5mm length of the 510 threaded connector base is not include in the carto length measurement.
Cartomizers can produce excellent vapor but there is a learning curve involved. I use LR XL cartos. The Smoktech XL holds 1.8 ml of liquid. I vape a little more than 2 ml per day. I can vape the 2.0 ohm XL carto at regulated 3.7V for 2-3 hours before I get a dry hit, then I need to top off with about .7 ml of liquid. If I vape the 1.7 ohm XL I have to top off three times as often, not because I'm using more liquid but because the carto runs that much warmer at 3.7V and needs more liquid in the carto for adequate cooling. At regulated 3.7V, a 1.7 ohm LR is easy to burn if run too dry. Carto tanks are a big help here.
Carto tanks solve a lot of issues with cartos by keeping the filler fully saturated at all times. I don't use carto tanks because I put a premium on the ability to carry my APV comfortably and without leaking in my front jeans pocket.
