Provari + ibtank + Ikenvape pre-punched cartos = heaven. A bit finicky but once you get it dialed it's fantastic. I also use a Vivi Nova, which suffers in flavor delivery but excels in reliability. It just always works and never leaks.

Finally getting around to researching all these suggestions. Thanks, by the way.

Which cartos are you referring to from Ikenvape? It looks like they have several different models to choose from.

I'd recommend trying a box of each, in whatever size you need. I use the double-punched ones because I use 100% VG juice. The trick is getting them when they are in stock. Boge cartos are a decent choice if you can't get Ikenvapes.

After tons of research and your suggestions (Thanks!) I have ordered the Provari with the 18490 batteries, Pila charger, and a 19mm XL tank from IBTanked. This seems like a very solid setup based on what I have read.

The Ikenvape cartos are way out of stock and it seems like those are a pain to find. I am going to research punching / cutting my own cartos as that appears to be a good way to go for regular sourcing. It's not a good look to be quitting analogs and be searching for a basic supply like cartos that are not available anywhere. The Boge XLs get good press and apparently they are a reliable product. If anyone can point me in the right direction in re: modding stock cartos for use, you could save me some time. I have probably a week before I get the rest of the gear anyway, so I will be doing some looking on my own.

I appreciate the help.

Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic flat top with carto tank from IBTanked. Just a dynamite combination. You have VV/VW and can use 18350, 2x18350, 18490/18500, 18500 or 18650 batteries all without extension pieces. Money saved on this well-built unit can go to buying other things you may want, like more batteries, atomizing devices, juice, etc.

Just so you know, XL cartos will only fit XL ibtanks. If you got a standard ibtank, you'll need standard cartos. Do a google search for punching cartos and look under videos, there are several on YouTube.
No, an XL carto will fit IBTanked carto tanks in standard or XL length, 19 or 22 mm width. A standard carto will only fit IBTanked carto tanks in standard length, either 19 or 22mm.

I started vaping at the beginning of 2012 and have unfortunately gone back and forth to analogs, partially because my dripping setup does not lend itself well to travel in general and driving in particular, which I do a lot of.

I have been using a couple of different Super-T Precise Plus mods with DC atties. I am looking to finally get away from analogs altogether and think that a tank set-up might be ideal. I have never used cartos.

At any rate, any suggestions as to tanks and regulated mods would be greatly appreciated. Price level isn't terribly important. I just want something that is very reliable, doesn't leak.

You've already made your decisions by this time, but after re-visiting this thread another idea came to me. You already have a couple of Super T Precise mods and have experience dripping. Were you not aware of the Vape Mate made by Super T? This is a delivery device that contains a soft-sided juice tank (like a bottom feeder mod) that attaches to a tube mod. It essentially turns any tube mod into a bottom feeding mod.

I actually have a Vape Mate, but was never able to get it to work very well. As far as dripping into an atty goes, I was able to get much better control just dripping by hand. The Vape Mate tends to flood the atty for me.

Thanks for the response. I am going to dig out the VM and give it another shot (and try to get a better connection on my atomizer - I don't know if it was the o-rings or what, but it never attached very well).
