Question about 0 Nicotine

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if 0 nicotine pre-filled cartridges generally produce vapor/flavor similar to using the ones with nicotine.

I've only had my e-cig for a few days and I seem to be puffing away like crazy. I feel like I have had more nicotine today than ever. I'd like to try some flavors and thought perhaps 0 nicotine may be a good choice. I could puff away and test things out without going overboard on the nicotine.

I realize there is a lot of variation based on brands and other factors. I'm just looking for general opinions on 0 nicotine, is it like air, etc?

The flavor, if anything, might actually be better. Nicotine adds a peppery taste. The vapor should be the same - the nicotine has nothing to do with vapor production as far as I know.

What won't be the same is the throat hit. It will be pretty wimpy at 0 nic. But if you're just testing flavors, then that shouldn't matter much.

The throat hit is a consideration but it may be ok to test out some flavors. I'll wait a few days. Maybe after the newness wears off a bit I will have a bit more self control.

How many cigarettes did you smoke a day before you started vaping, and what nicotene level are you vaping now?

I smoked about a pack and half a day (Parliament 100s) for 20 years and am using 12mg cartridges. I have some higher and lower cartridges coming to test out. After the past couple of days I don't really think I need higher levels at all.

I smoked a pack a day (Marlboro Menthol Lights) and started out with 11mg because I figured I would be vaping a whole lot... and I am, but I feel fine.

I picked up a couple 18mg flavors, and I can tell the difference big time... gonna stick with 11mg from here on out, and probably decrease a bit more over time.

I think I will probably stick with the 12mg and lower over time also. My plan going into this was to cut down as I go along but at the moment I just want to leave cigarettes completely.

Easy, get some VG from the drug store, mix it w/ some extract flavor that you like and puff away. Very inexpensive "fodder" for experimentation. I am smoking a vanilla/rose flavor right now that I made. Has me thinking I don't need nic at all. Cost about $.50 for @ 10ml. lol

Is there a legal reason most online places sell their kits with 0 nicotine cartridges? Something to do with US law and advertising I suppose?

I smoked between a pack and a pack and 1/2 a day, and found 12mg is a good spot for me, as I do vape fairly often during the day.

But....I switch to 0 nic after 7 or 8pm, for chain-vaping in front of the computer. I enjoy the full 'wet' flavor of the 0nic at night, when I'm relaxing and unwinding. But I need the spiciness and 'bitey' feeling of nicotine during the day to calm any urges for a cigarette.

That hasen't been my experience at all. Most have nic in their prefilled carts.

The spice spice section of the market: Vanilla extract, mint etc. Also, in medetaranian markets they have water based extracts which are very economical. Like Rose Water. Possibly other sorces as well, I', not sure.
