Can a Mega 510 280mah be charged on a standard 510 usb charger?... I'm thinking about getting a couple but don't want the added expense of chargers.

Not only can it be, but it should be. Don't use a rapid charge eGo charger on any 510 cig style batt.

Specs for 510, 510 XL(mega) and 510T charger:

Input: 5V, 500mA
Output: 4.2V, 150mA
