Question about 510 Gold V2 Cartomizer

Hey guys I'm loving these things myself...Put 1 on the Buzz yesterday @ 4.3 ....Just awesome, 5C I am not getting any odd tastes from the filler, granted this is my first experience with IKV cartos...(IKV Virgin oh noes) , Hey maybe thats what good filler is suppose to taste like.....Hahahaha

Well I'm not anymore either. I woke up with a headache like I used to get from the filler burning in them old 808 cartos when they first came out. I thought I tasted that taste a little again but I'm back using it and no taste.

There is a good chance that you might have scorched/burned the sleeve/filler. I have to be very careful with cartos and my vaping style. I have come to find out that many times the scorched taste will go away for a hit or two but always come back. Every autopsy I did confirmed my suspicions. Now I know and if I accidentally abuse it and I simply say sheet and toss 'em.

Completely agree Switched, its so easy to scorch one. I got my V2s in a few days ago and so far there great. Flavor is good, draw is pretty good and no burning! I started out around 4.3v and have gradually moved it up to 5.1v now (VV is awesome). I think the biggest problem people have with scorching is just using them to soon after filling. I now Fill at let them sit over night before i use them. It really helps with wicking IMO to let that filler get really saturated. Either way, thank you again Iken. So far best carto I've ever used.

I think I described it wrong switched. It's not a burnt taste but when I used the older cartos a yr. ago (not Ikens) there was a taste or sense that you were getting the filler chemicals or whatever with the juice taste. It gave me headaches and that was one reason I liked Ikenvapes cartos so much, they didn't have it. That's another reason I thought the clears etc. were going to be good because there was no filler. I'm sorry but I'm not the best at describing things.
Anyway I thought I was getting that again because of a headache I woke up with but I was wrong as it was great all day yesterday. I haven't scorched a carto in a long time, probably almost a yr.

I received my Provari this morning and tried it with various combinations but ONE stands out: 510 v2 dripstyle @4.5v. Woooooah! the TH, vapour production & flavour (Halo Freedom) are amazing. Thanks again for supplying such quality at a fair price!
