I was given a RDA by someone when I told them I wanted to try dripping. It had one coil in it that was burnt out. I had some coils that I built for my t3 that were made to be 2.2 ohms each. I installed two of them and I read 1.1 ohms. I I installed a single cotton wick through each coil. I also increased the size of the air hole. It vapes like a beast but I get some juice in the vape and I get only about 4 hits before I have to add juice. The wick is still wet but not wicking well. Any suggestions on how I can make it better. I have an itaste vv 3 battery and I have tested as high as 10 watts but I think that I am voltage limited.

Edit: Thanks to Vash I was able to find the model of the RDA. It is a SM20 from fastech. http://www.fasttech.com/product/1353405-sm20-rebuildable-dripping-atomizer The difference between the SM20 and the SM30 is the SM20 has screw heads that the wire wraps around. The SM30 has thumb screws and holes in the posts that the wire passes through and the thumb screws hold in place. The SM30 is probably easier to rebuild. I could not see any other differences

I tried a thinner roll of cotton and it seems to wick a little better.

I have 32 gauge wire here so I am going to play with making my wraps tighter. With a micro coil it looks like the wraps are still ~1/16 diameter. Just the coils are really tight to each other. Does this not short the wraps to each other? Is there a chart of impedance and the number of wraps at a given diameter for the micro coil?

Does anyone have any information about this RDA?

I thought this RBA was named a squid, ie. mini octopus.
I have mine working, possibly to well. They say, use as Little cotton as. You think you can, then remove a. Little more. I have a 1.5 ohm coil, cotton wick, centered air hole over coil, on a Evic set for 7 watts.
I can put 8 small drops in mine, vape 10-12 long draws, then add 4 drops, vape 10-12 and repeat.
I had to lower nic by half, and not vape as often, to maintain a even keel.

Good Luck and Happy Vaping!!!

Thanks for the help last night. I got angry making the coil and decided to try again in the morning. I had no problem making a micro coil this morning. I did 12 wraps of 32 gauge came out to 2.1 ohms. I rolled the cotton only enough to get it into the coil and fluffed up the rest. I cut it down to fit and then cut it down some more.

for such a tiny piece of junk it is working extremely well. I still only get 4 -5 long pulls on it but even at 6 mg liquid it is overpowering and gave me a headache.

That's a purity thang right there.
Some people say the smaller chamber is a more better thing. I surely like mines.
