I recently bought a VV box mod with the digital volt screen. I am out of warranty and it is starting to intermittently dying. I can be vaping and it will just die. It seems if I squeeze it a little as I push the button it works again. Sometimes if ii turn the power switch off and on it works again too. I do not understand a lot about how these thigs work so i am not sure what I can do to fix this problem. (if there is anything that can be done). Iwould appreciate any advice from all the modding experts in this forum. I really like the box and will be bummed if it dies.
I don't know if it makes a difference or not but I am a pretty bad chain vapor.

Try the store you bought it from, a lot of GOOD suppliers (in my experience) will replace the device or fix it free of charge out of warranty. If it's nothing you did and just a fault in the design or components then why should you have to deal with a device that does not last? Doesn't hurt to ask. Especially since most vv box mods like you describe go for ~$100, a great deal of the cost is just the labor of making it. Materials probably account for a small percentage of the price.

Also doesn't hurt to know where its from, maybe other people have the same experience with the same mod.

Could be that you have the voltage set too high for the DC carto's, some circuits with fault/overcurrent protection will shut down either until power is cut or the fault is removed. Try lowering the voltage or using a different cartomizer. If you're running a 2 ohm on 6 volts that's 3 amps draw, maybe even more on a dual coil
