The battery is designed to cut off after a certain voltage is reached (3.4V usually). The vape gets weaker as the battery drains and you will notice a subtle change in vape. Innokin designed the Endura to put out 14 watts from the time battery is unplugged to when its cutoff is reached. joyetech did not do this with the AIO. Getting to know that subtle change will be your best option.

Hey, Į bought joytech aio yesterday, charged it over night and Į was vaping it for all of today, it's 9:30PM right now. I'm wondering how to know that battery needs charging? My friend said that it's just going to power off when battery is empty, but Į don't think that it's healthy for The device.

I turn off my light for mine, but if you keep it on...after you puff with the light on, it will then come on again and blink in some way to indicate the battery life. I forget the specifics, but it will show you some sort of indication as to the life. If you google it, you should be able to find out the specifics.

After you release the button after taking a puff, the light goes out, comes back on, and then goes out again. Whether and how it blinks when it comes back on tells you the battery life, as Phil explains at 23:41 in this video:

If you could tell how it indicates that battery needs charging Į would be very happy, since Į don't have enough phone data to watch it my self. :(
EDIT: Nevermind, I watched it on my laptop. Apparently, I still had 30-60% of battery left after a whole day. This thing lasts quite long. I chain vape almost all the time, except lectures.

For anyone else who's reading and curious:

Light goes out, comes back on, stays on solid: 60-100% battery remaining
Light goes out, comes back on, pulses slowly: 30-60% battery remaining
Light goes out, comes back on, pulses quickly: battery needs charging, only 10-30% battery remaining
Light flashes red: battery needs charging, will not fire.
