I've recently noticed that my battery voltage reads low when a atty or carto is connected. I've checked multiple attys with a wide range of ohms and they all do the same thing. I thought my charger or batts were going bad till I verified with a multi meter. Fresh off the charger the reading is right at 4.17 with the multi meter, put it in the Provari and it's 3.7, sometimes 3.6 but when I unscrew the atty/caro it reads correctly at 4.1/4.2.

I've had this almost a year and I've never noticed it doing that till the past week, can't believe I would have missed it for that long if that's how it's supposed to be as I regularly check my batts fresh off the charger to make sure my charger is working correctly.

I've also cleaned the contacts, threading and spring but they didn't need it and of course it didn't help. So I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

They're probably ready to be replaced. I've been using the same 2 since I got it, just seemed to happen all the sudden as I know I can remember seeing battery readings of 4.1 on a fresh charge in the Provari but now it's consistently 3.7 and sometimes 3.6. Checking under load would explain it as it does fire the atty.

Guess I'll spring for some new batteries and see what happens, thanks.

Haven't really noticed any difference in the length of time but I use several mods during the day so it's hard to tell. I'll test it using only the Provari but I'm sure it's probably time to get a new set anyway, I've had my Provari about a year and purchased them about the same time and probably charge them every 1 to 2 days so they've seen probably 250 or more cycles.
