question about blank cartos? help :)

okay got my package, well packages from V4L today. very quick thank you. but my problem is I am trying to fill my blank carts and the little pipe thing with the wire is above the filling, how do i get it back into the filling? there isnt any room for it to be pushed down, i have opened three and two of them are like that so far, any suggestions?

Of five, three of mine have the element longer than the batting by about 1/16th inch or so. If that's what you're seeing, it's fine and functional, just manufacturing tolerances, I believe. I'm moving so my camera's packed away or I'd take a photo.

Is that not what you're seeing?

no it is up above the filling almost touching the silicone ring its loose i can move it around but cant push it down into the filling.

If they are working, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have several where the wire comes up out of the batting, and they work just fine.

If they aren't working, well, that's a whole other story.

You won't be able to push it down...that wire is to keep everything centered. If he hole isn't centered then you can move the wire to center the hole.

As far as the ring....I put it in and push on the tip right behind it. I don't push it back down close to the batting. This makes it easier for me to remove the tip because I like to lift out the rubber ring with the tip so that I don't damage the tip.

FWIW, I have had several (pre-filled) carts like that, they actually turned out to be GREAT cartos!

The fill is dry, when you put the liquid in the cart the fill will rise up.

Blank carts are the best!!!

I have to agree

and yes OP no need to worry it should effect the performance... if you do have a dud it is either purely coincidental or the element broke with you fiddling with it.

That is completely normal....they will work fine like that. I have had a lot of carts that look like that and have had no problems with them!
