Are you talking about Cartomizers? Or are you talking about Cartridges that you pop into an atomizer?

If you are talking about cartridges that go into an atty i have no clue because i have never used them.

the cartridges that go on the atty is what i mean. sorry if this sounds confusing, i just barely got into this stuff. i've had my ego for like a day or 2.

yea i got some with the polyfill, but i heard you can still use the ones without polyfill. with my kit i got 5 with polyfill and 2 that were already on the 2 attys the kit came with.

Are you sure they aren't just the black caps that come on atomizers? They probably look just like cartridges but they are actually just caps to use when you are dripping.

they're the same thing as the carts you put on the atty, just without the polyfill. they came on the atty already. has the hole for the mouth piece and everything, just no polyfill.

and another thing, is it bad to drip directly on the atty?

Hi, Newbie here.

I had the same issue yesterday. 4 of the 5 cartridges in my new 510 kit came with polyfill and were supposed to be prefilled but were very dry. 1 came empty.

I went to a local pet store and bought some blue aquarium foam and used that as the fill. It worked fine. I dont believe that new kits come with a drip tip (someone please correct me if I am wrong). I also quickly found that you need to place a drop or two of juice on the atomizer to prime it if it is dry.

Regarding dripping I am waiting for my back up atomizers to arrive before attempting. There are some good videos on utube you can check out.

Good Luck!

Yes, leave it in there. In fact when you fill a carto it is best to let it sit for about 15'-30 min for best flavor. You can leave it for a long time. I am currently using cartos that I filled 6 months ago. Just make sure you are using the carto condoms that came with it.

now by "carto" is that cartomizer? cuz i have just the cartridges with the polyfill that you drip onto.

I made a mistake with a 510 kit I picked up from the local rip off place that I started getting ecig supplies from. I didn't know it at first, but the atty's had those caps on them and the card that was the instruction manual didn't give much info on setup and use of the kit. It stated how to charge the batteries & parts lists. Boy was I in for a surprise when I tried those caps on the attys with no juice and probably just the fluid used to preserve the attys while in the box. I swear I thought I was going to pass out from the god awful burning I was inhaling. I nearly went back to that shop to throw a fit, til I started reading up on PROPER setup & use of a 510 from when I was lurking on this forum. This place saved my 510 from the garbage can. Note to self buy from a reputable company with people that know how to use the product. Rant over.
