question about building on mutation v2

As you might know, the mutation rda has a post on the outside, one large one in the middle with 2 holes, and then another outside post I see a lot of people while building on a mutation putting the leads of their coils in the outside and then the hole further away, as seen in my crudely drawn photo=p i was just wonderingwhy not feed through the closer one, it seems a lot easier? i've been just rolling with the crowd and building using the 2 further ones.

Depends on your coil width?

I build them like that because that's how I've seen it too, but I find it brings the coils more to the center. Since I build macro coils, it gives me more space to fit my wick and position everything how I want it, with the airholes right on the coils, slightly under them.

I do it because it puts the coil closer to centered without terrible deformed leads. Plus if I do a coil with say 10 wraps of 26g dual coils for example, it's just easier for the length of the coil.
