anywhere my broomstick takes me
Hi everybody, hope your all having a great friday!

ive another quickie question?

ive been reading up on modding the carts with foam, blue foam from petco etc..

i have been using pollyfill, and it works ok, thing is, it seems to dry out really fast, the front part nearest the atty while the bottom stays wet, and im always topping off every 30 minutes or so..

so, i thought why not try the blue aqaurium foam from petco that people seem to talk about..

but i couldnt find the blue foam, petco was out of stock of it today, but i did find white foam? its called fluval? i read the box and didnt see any chemicals on it, and i know to rinse b4 use, but im wondering is this ok to use? is this the kind of foam i should try?

update on white foam from petco

Okay, on the fluval white foam i bought at petco?

I washed it and rinsed it ..dried it..

i decided to use an old ecig i have , which by the way i rarely use ...
the nasty smoke everywhere?

i took the cart off, used my tweezers to pull out the glued filling in said cart..

i cut small piece of the white foam, inserted into my cart, added a few drops of artic menthol to it and gave it a few puffs, so far, no leaks in my mouth, and seems to be pulling well..

im now going to wait a while and see how long before i have to top up..

no yucky taste, etc..

I use the same white Fluval, or rather, a cheaper version of it called jewel. (No clue whether it's a German brand or an international one.) I use only very very little, I cut a piece of those little mats to the size of the card, and then I half that bit. Also, I use a (thin) straw with it. Works absolutely great and is not exactly much work.

i meant to ask ya something? when using the foam, do u cut the foam so that it fills the entire cart? i mean from bottom of cart to just under rim of cart? or do u cut the cart so that it leaves a gap under the bottom? meaning, just under the lip, but allowing a a lil gap so that it doesnt touch the bottom of cart? do u get me? lol
