question about bluefoam mod

Ok, I have looked high and low in stores around town. The only thing I have found is Marineland Rite-Size Bonded filter pad. No U, No V, No nothing after it. Its a pad of blue aqua marine foam with a white (looks like polyfil) on the bottom. If you just use the blue part of the foam, will this be a problem? I tried it out and it seems to be holding the liquid in fine and I am not getting any weird tastes or anything, so is this foam ok to use? Here is a link to it.

I use both the white and blue. Make sure you wash it first though.

So you just cut the white and blue as one piece or do you use them separately? Everytime I cut a piece out, I always give it a good minute under the tap to rinse out anything that might be in it.

That's all I could find, too, and it works fine. I cut a piece (both blue and white) and shove it into the inner cart.

Same foam I use. I cut it in either a "T" shape or "V" shape. Wide on top and narrow going down into the cart. The wide top acts as a plug and the narrow end for wicking.

Yup, I cut it like a V, too. Forgot to say that.

Well, I do it like the My simple Cart mod does. I just cut off a small piece. double it over and stick it in the end and use it as a stopper. So far its been working great this way. Haven't had any leaks yet.

I just got some yesterday actually and I just use the blue part, works ok so far. I seem to go through liquid a bit quicker but there is much less waste.

I bought marineland online for $6 shipped. Works great for me.

Also I find 901 carts work great on the 510.

Or "T" shaped. Same reason as buzo23 said.
You want to plug the top and make it narrow below for more juice while creating a narrow wick.

I got some of the blue foam off amazon was like 4-5.00 pack of 3 sleeves. Cheap and works great. But I've now totally switched to mega cartomizers. NO leaks, no messing around cutting and rinsing. But whatever works and keeps you vaping!

I seem to be leaning to this as well. However, I am going to try BF, to fill all the carts I have. Might as well use them since I got em.
