question about cartomizers

hello all,
been looking at the kr series that drew carrys.
How long does 1 cartomizers last.I read that you can refill these.
Also if anyone one can compare them the dse901 would greatly help.

cartomizers last longer than 901 carts depends on how heavy you vape as to how long the liquid inside the cart will last, you can refill the carts there are a few ways to do this you will need to find the way that works best for you, The forum has many posts about refilling cartomizers

Hey Rob...They last aproximatley 100 to 250 puffs..I know that sounds like a wide range but there are many factors, including, length of draw, number of draws per sesion, amount of time in between sesions...Due to the constrution of the cartomizers, all these factors can make a huge difference in the wicking process...there are many instructional videos on how to fill these carts, however they are not designed to be refilled and those refilling should be careful not to let the liquid reach the battery...

Yup The wild wild world of vaping.

I have crippled 2 batts experimenting while refilling.

The carts with the smaller hole take a few drops readily from the batt end.

If you block the mouthpiece the juice will not go in.. sooo, hold it in your hand and keep it off of a hard surface while dripping.

I drip Greencarts and regular carts with the small hole the same way.

Wait for each drop to do a Mind Freak and vanish or the juice will pool around the threads.

I never take a refill on the road fagetaboutit.

Many of the vids show a fill from the mouthpiece and a good hit after filling.

Refills give good hits at first but there is no way they last like a fresh cart, and I use a bunch more juice for the same result

Sitting at home adding a drop here and there is my personal expectation with a spent cart.

I vape like a muther so your milage my vary.

I won't lie. Ran out of cigs. Don't want to go to the store. Start digging in the ashtray for one that I might be able to get my fix from. Sick I know. I think alot of us did that.

Do yourself a favor and try this experiment with a 808D-1 cartomizer:

Drain one as far as you can comfortably go without burning it.

Refill the cartomizer from the mouthpiece end (removing the white cap) per the videos or instructions that you will find here on the forum. Do not overfill.

Let the carto sit for a few hours, allowing the refill to properly wick into the filler.. and then into the wick wrap around the heating element. Do NOT immediately vape off of the cart.

See if that doesn't work a lot better for you. Using this method I got results from a refill that were comparable to a new cart.

What I tell all the people I turn on to vaping via E-Cig and the NHaler threads, is that we are involved in a learning evolution.

Sharing info with one that helps many to succeed.

Just wondering Scott...

Do find the heavier juices work better with this method using carts vs. High Voltage.

I often mix 24MG 555 with HV 12MG flavours and have good success with 510

18 drops is the key with filling the 808 carts. Drop it in on the side, and let it run into the cartomizer. Then one drop on the other side, and it's totally full.

You may have to whip the cartomizer like a can of skoal if it is thicker E-Liquid every 5 drops or so.

There is no waiting around on this method, and you don't get any E-Liquid in your mouth at all.
