Question about CCV REs on my Reo Grand

Got these a few days ago and love them on my Grand. I was so stocked the first day I used one because the flavor and vapor production was very nice. Problem is they seem to lose flavor after about a day. Does that sound normal for these cartos? I know they are meant to be disposable but I expected to get at least a couple of days out of each one.
BTW- I'm vaping mainly AVE's RAF but also sometimes mix in some caramel kicker or choc. mint. Could the darker juices be the culprit?

When you say REs are you referring to resurrectors? If so, yes they should last a lot longer than a day. Maybe you are letting them get too dry. Mine last me well over a week and then I clean them and can get another week out of them, sometimes longer.

Yes, the resurrectors. Wonder what I am doing wrong. Maybe it smy taste buds, or maybe I should try another juice.

Yes, for the most part. I find PG a bit harsh on the throat.

Yeah, so do I. Maybe you should try thinning your VG juice with distilled water or vodka or some other kind of booze. I found that when I used vodka it gave a little bit too much TH but maybe you would like that. If you are using sweet/fruity flavors, they are probably gunking up your coil although I don't seem to have that problem but it could depend on where you get your juice.

I use the Resurrectors. I also use only 100% VG. Most of my juices are sweet and some are dark. Here is what I found. I do not fill them first. Just squonk some juice into them and vape.
You do not need to soak the filler.
Just squonk like a atty.
I get great vapor, and flavor.

Karen, You say yours last weeks but don't you have multiple PVs going all the time so you are rotating them a lot thus greatly extending their life.

I do the same thing as Karen but I only have 3 Reos that I use so they are getting plenty of use.

I have taken that into consideration. Yes, I use the Mini Woodvils with Resurrectors from Thursday night till Monday morning. So if they last me two months then I can say they last at least 4 weeks. That is typical. I do use other REO's during that time also. But the Resurrectors are still sitting with juice in them. Just not fired as much as if they were the only ones in use. I always at least have three REO's going at work, but only one with a Resurrector.

My last batch of resurrectors are not very good. They aren't hitting well and they are varying a lot from one to the next. I'll get one thats good for 5 days, the next one for a day and another one that goes in the garbage almost immediately. 66/34 mix of pg to vg.

Don't let them dry out. Also, could be the juice. My Boge LRs would taste real bad after about 3 days but I am now making my own juice and they are lasting over a week.

Use the Res. 1.7 on my Grand, 50/50 mix and I get around 30 ml maybe a bit more from one, approx. 10 to 14 days. Do not overfill, this was cutting the longevity big time, only really need to fill bottom half, makes a big difference. Good Luck.

this is my exact experience both times i've ordered resurrectors.

The one thing i dont like about the ressurs are QC . When they are working good though they are one of the best cartos . I usually get about a week out of one but some bads one i only got like two or three days before it got a burtnt taste even when it was for sure fully saturated . I did have a couple also that lost flavor the second day .

The reason why it's loosing flavor so quickly is due to condensation build up that goes back down in the filler material. That's why the flavor diminishes fairly quickly. Which is the biggest problem with XL cartos.

The juice can have an effect but, it would take a couple of days before it effects the flavor. Which would taste slightly burnt and would have wicking issues if it's high in VG. That would effect the flavor by making it taste "dry".

My last batch was the same. The first set I ordered were all in green plastic wrappers/pouches, and they were all wonderful. The last set I ordered were all in clear wrappers and more than half of them sucked performance-wise. Obviously not the same batch, but I still expect the same performance. Now I'm not so sure if I should order more or not. However, they now offer pre-punched Resurrectors for the "dual coil tanks" everyone's selling (I have one on my Lavatube), so I may go that route. But if I get another batch of duds, that'll be it for me. I'll find another carto supplier. Just my $.02.

Yeah, I got the clear wrappers as well so maybe I'm in the same boat. The condensation issue also makes sense. Well, anyways I ordered the three pack and since there was an issue sending my order he included an extra pack so I now have 20 of these things. Relatively inexpensive for the lot of them so I guess I'll just go through them and hope for a winner.

I just got a new batch, and the first one wasn't very good, so I swapped it out after a couple of days. The second one, however, is spectacular. I hope the other 58 are just like it ;-)
