question about ce2

I just have a couple questions I am hoping someone with some experience could help me with...So if I wanted to buy some ce2s without the tank, because they seem to be a little difficult to find..or expensive..could I buy something like

DCT 4ML Empty Chrome Tank

not that one exactly maybe..but buy that..then buy any ce2 and throw it in there..or any tank for that matter? I want to buy a couple regular tanks..and maybe one ce2 tank. I would like to be able to purchase replacement ce2s and im just looking for the most cost effective way to do this..

There are a number of tanks that are designed for CE2 cartos:

Acorn Tank

MAP Tank E2

Torpedo Tank

There probably are more, but these are the ones I know about. They all use cut steel CE2's. You can buy the CE2's and cut them with a pipe cutter or buy them already cut.
