Question about changing batteries

So I was vaping away on my volt with a carto I just topped off, before heading to work. All was fine until I decided to switch out my 65mm to a 78mm battery. Took my first puff and I noticed the light died out while I was sucking. With the little vapor I had revived I noticed the flavor was strange, almost like plastic. So I took the 75mm battery and popped it in to my pcc to check battery life. It read 2 out of 3 bars, I thought maybe it wasn't screwed on proper. I tried again, it worked but now I'm still getting a strange taste. Both batteries are sealed auto. Switched back to 65mm and plastic taste isn't as strong.
Would the volt or w/e you wanna call it increase with a larger battery?

Voltage should be the same unless you are using a cartomizer that needs more current than your smaller battery can handle. The same with watts. More likely you have a bad carto that either isn't filled or isn't wicking and getting juice to the coil..

Do you mean that this happened right after you topped off the carto? If not, it just sounds like the carto was dry and got singed.

I topped it off before heading to work, and it happened after lunch. The poly fill does look dry. I have been vaping more now that I went down in nicotine. I guess I have to bring an extra carto from now on.

What carto is it, and what ohm?

Yeah, that's more than enough time for a carto to dry out. I take a 6ml dropper bottle of eliquid with me when I go out and top off the carto as soon as it doesn't look wet on top (about once an hour, or so.)

It's a volt cato, not sure on the ohm. Is it 2.6?
