Hi all new user here pretty basic question for you guys and i cant seem to find the answer on my own. I really like the look of the reo but i cant figure out how does the liquid from tank get up and into the disposable carto? Is there a hole in the bottom of cartos that allows the liquid to pass through to wick material?

They are made in batches and then posted for a specific sale date. Last one was back is Feb. Rob is doing some remodeling of his workshop and will start on a batch of mechanical woods after that. Probably won't see any until fall or later is my guess. Your best bet is watch the classifieds and swap thread.

skinny, welcome to the forum and to REOville. You can't go wrong with a REO. Ask away with any questions you may have, everyone here loves to help.

BTW, in case you weren't aware, the person who answered first was none other than the founder, designer, builder, mod father extraordinaire himself, Rob. What a way to get acquainted here

IMO cartos don't do the reo justice.

Do yourself a favor and order an RM2, some 28ga wire and 3mm wick to get started and your first vape with the REO will be a much better experience!

Watch Rob's coil wrapping video to get started, then as you hang out here you can learn how to get more fancy with your coils.

Hi All,

Another question for you. I have a stingray mech clone and two sony batteries that i bought from the local vape shop are these batteries no good for a reo? I have to look and see which they are when i get off work but i saw in another thread that reo recomends a very specific battery. Why is that?

I'm not sure what that is. I've just been using clearomizers.

Do yourself a favor, forget the cartos!
Since your taking the plunge in getting a REO go all the way and get a RM2 to go with it! Watch the videos here for making your own coils. You wouldn't believe the difference, you'll be saying " wow, this is what I've been missing????? :)

Sony batteries will work fine. The Reo recommendations was written back when AW batteries were the "good" batteries and most other ones were crap and Sony was making the Walkman (maybe just a little exaggeration) Sony, Efest, AW all work on the Reo. I personally recommend Sony.

Welcome, and I like other in the thread would recommend getting an RM2 dripper rather than using cartos, but if you've never built a coil before starting with cartomizers isn't a bad way to go. You just get a much better vaping experience using a real dripper (RDA) like the Reomizer 2.0. (RM2)

later,
Ken

I was probably going to buy both so i could learn how to wrap coils. What ohm should the coils be for the rm2 on a grand? Realistically what are the dangers?

Ohms will vary by person and vaping styles. I build coils at 1.0- 1.2 ohms. I like a warm vape, not hot, and that suits me.

You need a ohm checker to build coils. You must check the coil on the RBA before putting it on the REO. This lets you see if there is a short and read the ohms too.

I was scared to get into the RBA's. I stuck with regular atomizers and cartomizers for along while. But once I vaped on a RBA that all changed. I didn't want to go back to regular!

There are many threads on how to build coils, what wire and wick to use. But you can take your time and start off simple with a regular atomizer or cartomizer.

Most of us were very satisfied with regular. We just didn't know there could be better!

But all this doesn't mean you cannot use stock attys or cartos on a Reo either. If anything, a Reo will make the experience better. I hated every carto I ever ran across - until I put them on a bottom feeder. That whole freakin' PITA of a carto flooding out the bottom, or running dry and ruining it, is eliminated on a Reo. Any over-fill comes right out the bottom, is contained by the catch cup, and feeds right back into the Reo. Since you don't have to fiddle filling they way you normally do with a carto you can keep 'em wet all the time and not singe the filler. In my experience, because of that they last longer on a Reo.

Currently using an Ikenvape 1.8ohm 306 atty with a TheEcig glass drip tip on it. (And not gonna apologize for it either. :D) It's all better on a Reo.

You have options - that's all.

I can use my mvp 2.0 to check ohms i believe

Is the one that you use a rebuildable or is it disposable?
