Question about e cig battery

Hi im new here

Hows it going?

I just recently started vaping again and I had a quick question about my battery. I just have a standard 650 mah uno vapor ego style battery. Basically the other day I went to pull my battery out of the drawer and I realized something was leaning up against it causing it to fire. My question is should I replace the battery? there was no clearamizer attached to it. Could this have damaged the battery since the manual button was being pressed on for awhile? sorry I'm still kind of a noob with this E-cig stuff.

Give it a charge and try it out. Don't forget to turn your batteries off when you store them in the "box" or "drawer"

I wasn't even aware you could turn a battery off. How do you turn it off?

Try clicking the button 5 times really fast. It should blink (if charged of course). Then if you push it and nothing happens it is off, else if it lights up it is on

ok it turned off. is there any danger in using this battery if it does end up working? How would I go about knowing if it was damaged?

If the button was left on, the battery discharged. As long as it doesn't look like it's been through a fire, try it and see if it works. Either it will or it won't.

Your battery should have a 10 seconds cut-off safety. even if it was attached to a carto or a clearomizer it should cut off after 10 seconds to protect the coil, so the answer is no, you should be fine unless the button is too sticky and it doesn't want to release

I would risk messing around with it. I would just get a new battery...It sucks but these things can be fire hazards sometimes
