Question about flavoring that contains oil

Hi,
I recently got really into vaping and I decided to buy an ego and make my own e liquid. I made a mix that was 7ml of VG 2ml of Peppermint Flavoring (contains peppermint oil) and 1ml of distilled water. It vapes great and has a nice taste to it. I was concerned that the flavoring contains oil. Is this going to damage my e cig?

peppermint is one of my advs and i'm betting what i buy is made with the peppermint oil. i've ran 40ml thru my tanks so far with no problems.

Thanks so much for your help!! I also wanted to know if there is a tank/cartomizer system that does not need to be replaced and can last for months. Is there such a thing?

Welcome to ECF and vaping killa! IMO, your e liquid mix may not be safe. I do not use anything that is an oil in my mixes. There is a wealth of information in our DIY forum to explore here. Please never vape anything you are not sure of. It's not worth the risk.

What does oil do to the atomizer/cartomizer? I have some 510 style blank cartomizers that I would be willing to use with oil due to the fact that they are disposable anyway, but do you think I should try to keep oils away from a ce5?
