Hi guys! I received my latest NT order yesterday and the good people at NT threw in a free 15 ml bottle of Gravity. Thanks Kent and Co.! I had bought a batch of various juices from the classifieds a couple of months or so ago and it included a 15 ml bottle of Gravity that was a see through aqua color. This free sample from NT is clear. Will Gravity change color over time then?

Doodle and GCD. I ordered these because of all the rave reviews here on ECF. I have to give a little bit of backstory for this one. When I first got into DIY a year ago I tried to make a lemon cookie juice. I know I used lemon chiffon but I cannot remember which bakery flavoring I used for the cookie part. My attempt at lemon cookie was a complete disaster and after testing that juice I threw it out and forgot about it. Well....and this really sucks....I loaded some doodle up in my Reo/Odin this morning and I think what ever that bakery flavoring was that I used in that lemon cookie DIY test juice is in doodle and as I've been vaping doodle this morning I'm tasting that aweful lemon in it from my DIY disaster. My *stooopid* brain is mistaking doodle for that DIY flop and it's tasting lemony and I know there is no lemon in doodle! As to my question....how close are doodle and GCD in taste? I'm kind of thinking this evil lemon flavor in my brain might appear in GCD too, if GCD tastes similar to doodle. Help?!

Yup used to use food coloring to give it the colors they had. Due to concerns over food coloring and such awhile back, Clark elected to remove that equation from his product lineup :)

Edit: not sure about the lemon taste either, as I never got that from either...i do believe that doodle has ginger in it...cant confirm that, but over time it does seem to forward a gingerish taste

I don't think they are terribly close in flavor. In GCD I can taste the bakery cinnamon, flaky buttery pastry, and the icing. It is my morning vape every day. Doodle has the cinnamon and more of a cookie taste versus the buttery pastry with icing. I like Doodle enough but I will pick GCD any day of the week out of the two.

Thanks guys and gals! I know there is no lemon in doodle, it's my brain making an association with lemon that is not there and it's driving me bonkers.

Ok, I'll give GCD a go and hope for the best! Praying that whatever is in doodle is not in GCD too.

EDIT: GCD may have to wait a tad...I loaded up some Strawnilla and I think I might have to spend the day with her.

I think I'm in the Doodle over GCD camp, but both are great. With the Doodle, I get a soft sweet cookie taste on the inhale with a powdered sugar and cinnamon flavor on the exhale. GCD is more buttery cinnamon pastry inhale and bakery cinnamon exhale with a touch of the sweet vanilla icing at the finish.

I haven't hit the GCD in a while though, so I think I'll go load up a tank of my 4 month steeped bottle and give it another review.

Brain and tongue-strange bed fellows. For quite a while I had Wakonda in a mini Nautilus on an MVP2 and GCD in a mini PT2 on an ego style batt. The Wakonda seemed to have lost its sweetness and I felt the GCD needed an airier draw. When both tanks were finally empty at the same time I took them both apart, soaked them in alcohol, washed them well and dried them overnight. Yes, it was tough to wait. Then I put them together, outfitted them with new coils and filled them with their new liquids. The Wakonda found its sweetness and the GCD loved the airier draw. But sometimes when I pulled on the Wakonda, without thinking about it, I tasted GCD, and vice versa. My brain was used to the previous setup and my tastebuds went along with it. It's all sorted out now after a week or so, but is was strange while it was happening. So perhaps your brain was expecting the lemon flavor and told your tastebuds it was there. Well, just a thought . . .

That's exactly what's happening. There is something in doodle that is reminding my brain of my DIY flop and bringing lemon to my taste buds. It sucks.
