I've been reading through a few sleepy-time recipes that include Chamomile and Valerian and it got me thinking about what other herbs could be safe for medicinal vaping (Not MJ)

I found what looks to be a respectable supplier of almost every herb and tea you can imagine and was thinking of ordering the following:

Chamomile
Lemongrass
Passionflower
Valerian

The Valerian would probably have to be extracted in Vodka, the other three could probably be cooked in VG and strained out. A combination of the three should pretty much knock a rhino on his a**.

Has anyone experimented with things like this? Any input on quantities to use?

I'm thinking about buying this tea mix here:
Fast Asleep Tea - Bulk Herb Store

And doing a double extract.

Some will soak in Vodka for about 2 weeks, some I'll cook in VG for about 40 hours. I'd probably mix them at a rate of 20% alc extract to 80% vg extract, then possibly add honey flavoring or an EM sweetener.

Some people already do tea extracts, this has to be similar.

It sounds fun. The real honey might burn on the coils though. I'm not sure. I'm wondering if you took the same amount of herbs and steeped in boiling water 10 minutes or more, and drank it if it would be as effective as vaping it. Because you'd have to chain vape all day to get like 10 mils done...or drink it in one bang. I don't know how that vaporizing it on coils would change its "strength". On top of the fact we absorb X amount from vaping thru the mouth and nose. Will be interesting to see what happens and hard to find out why if it ends up being a super big sleepy time thing just vaping a couple mils or something. Makes me think
