Question about iTaste vv v3.0...

Pretty new to mods! Smoked blus for a little while until I tried a friend's mod and loved it! I bought my itaste vv v3.0 about a month ago along with an iclear 16B. I've loved both since I bought them, but recently I've been running into something unusual. To my understanding, when you press the + and - buttons at the same time, it shows the ohms, right? When I took my battery out of the box and put my 16B on, it read "A 2.1". But it's been slowly climbing ever since. Yesterday I looked at it and I was a little concerned that it was at 3.2. But tonight, I pressed the two buttons at the same time and I was shocked to see it read "A 5.6"!! I have my W set to 7.0 and my V set to 4.0 and it's been working fine up until tonight...there's got to be something wrong right? Please help! Thanks in advance

hi dantenorio93, welcome to ECF

sounds like your coil is getting GUNK'D up

dirty, deposits, residue left over from sweeteners in juice

you need to clean and dry-burn your coil maybe (youtube)

and it is EITHER Volts or Watts , never both :D

.

.
found a video for ya
- Quick and easy dry burn for clearomizers - iclear 16 dual coil - YouTube

thanks so much for the quick replies! I'll definitely try that asap. I really hope my coils are just dirty and not completely dead!

hey no biggie, they are supposed to be disposable coil heads

if you can clean them, great, if not move on

rinse it off, then try soaking in cheap vodka a few hours as a last effort :)

re-rinse / dry , give it a try...

it is a dual coil (2coils), possible that one coil failed
you'll know after cleaning attempt
