Question about my Genesis style atomizer

I have the DID genesis style atomizer. What does it mean when the wire gets immediately hot between the positive post and the mesh? If I attempt to burn the coil, it pops. I am new at this. Previously, I have had a coil that I could burn but now have replaced a couple of times and I can't seem to get it where I can burn it. I find after a while it works more efficiently if I burn it. Thanks.

If only one coil gets red hot and it pops it mean that it shorts. I'am also new to this atomizer, i tried and tried and fail. but i already had it working just a couple of hours a go.

I think you just have to torch the ss mesh wick very well and before you try on testing it make sure the wick is very wet. I hope this helps you. good luck!
