Question about my mystery battery conundrum.....

I have yellow ones as well, any idea what those ones are, also apparently samsungs.

Is there a label you can peel off on this one?
I don't know of any yellow Samsungs but there Is a LG battery that is yellow, the HE4 (a good 20A battery). The label on the top battery was applied by the vendor, not LG...



MXJO has a yellow one, says its 35A but it's really a 20A battery...



The LG HB6 has a wrapper that is sort of close to a yellow...a dirty yellow, that is...



There's a yellow Imren, the "40A/2000mAh" battery, only 20A but a decent one, but there is a lot of text and graphics on this one...

I don't know when they started making the new green ones. They became widely available a few months ago.

From what I've heard they put the white labels over the actual battery markings for two reasons...
- To prevent direct price comparison with other vendor's batteries of the same type, particularily for B&M's.
- To make it less confusing to battery purchasers. Most don't really care what battery it is, just so that it works. The basic white labels simply things.

No bar codes on the 25R's, looks pretty good. Here's a genuine green 25R (the codes might be different though)...

Does the top and bottom of your battery match these, as best as you can tell?

It matches pretty well, but there is no bar code on the battery, I have some VTC4's I might need you to have a look at later when I get some pics?

Holes in the wrapper are bad news if they go in a bottom fired metal tube mech.

btw, I don't think you mentioned what mod/s you are using

I've got a clone of the Hammer mod, the 'Hammer of the Gods' mod, the Excalibur mod, those are my mechs, I've got 2 istick 50W a kanger sub box and a snow wolf (yup I've been impulse buying!)

When I get home I'll get the yellow one checked, and if you don't mind checking these supposed VTC4's that'd be fab, you guys have been nothing but amazingly helpful!

Difficult to say, but they could be LG he2's. I don't know of any yellow Samsungs. AWT and MXJO have yellow. Batteries as well, I believe, but they has display the brand name in large print.

My HE2's are red, but the HE4"s are yellow (picture in my post above).
Good point about the large text on the AWT and MXJO!

Hmm...does Aosibo have anything in yellow? Or just red and that...umm...interesting brown.
