Question about Nebula

Hi all,

So far I have been really enjoying the juices here just recently got the Watermelon and let me tell you it rocks! I got it in medium and has a great throat hit btw I also love Redbull and Vanilla Vice as well.

My question is I started to slowly become dissatisfied with my Yeti/510 due to having to refill it every 30-40 puffs. and horribly battery life

I am not sure what other e-cig to go to, but I have been going back to analog here and there when I am out of juice.

Anyway since i have been getting excellent customer service here. I am wondering and thinking of tryiong the Nebula.

Anyone who has tried the 510 also owns the Nebula? Does the cartridge lasts a lot longer? Will it last an entire day without refilling? I am not a huge vapor but like to take say about 50-60 puffs throughout the day.

What do you think?

Nebula (KR808D-1) has far better battery life no comparison with the 510....I would also say you get better vapor and more throat hit (depends on the liquid you use) than the 510. Some people think the vapor is more with the 510...I guess it might be due to how you vape etc. The cart on these are a hit and a miss. IF you make sure they are filled properly from the get go....you can easily do 200 puffs per cartridge.

And how many how many times can you before you need a new cart or I guess materieal in the cart

It's the easiest refill, you just drip into the battery end. I get 50-60 pulls easy, & while I've only retired 1 cartridge, I refilled at 10-15 drops probably 10 times before I tossed it. I likely could have kept using it, though.

How the heck are people getting 5-10 refills on these?

I drip 15 drops in the battery end - before it gets completely dry - and only get 1 or 2 refills before I get a strong burnt taste. I'm using the Carolina Tobacco 16mg.

Do you set them aside with the rubber end caps on for awhile?

All of my original Nebula carts are still going strong for 2+ weeks now, except for the one I polluted with JC Peach Cobbler and gave to a friend.

When refilling, I put 5 drops and roll the cart vigorously between by thumb and index finger. Do 5 more drops, roll. Do 5 more, roll. Then I let it sit for a while w/ the caps and plug on. I'm not getting any dripping out of the end, and no burnt tastes.

I just dipped into the additional 5 carts I purchased from V9, but only b/c I am using a specific liquid in each cart and trying to keep from crossing liquids.

I too fill a bit - roll a bit, etc. The only thing that sounds different is that I don't put the plug back in. Perhaps that keeps any excess liquid away from the coil. I'll give that a try and see if it helps.

One more question: Are you refilling through the battery end or the mouthpiece? Thanks.

mind if i ask one more question?



I was reading something about some models of KR808D-1 have 4 holes or 2 holes and the models with 2 holes are much more superior becuase it gave less air is that true? Does the nebula have 2 holes or 4 holes?

This part I do not understand how do I make sure they are filled properly if for example I get menthol cartomizer from vapornine when I do not have the menthol juice in stock? what would I fill it with?


Or are you talking about when you refill the carts yourself with your own juice after the first one is empty?


Sorry for so many questions I am just really unsure what to get, and I really want to make sure I am happy.

Since I prefer my vapor warm (which is most easily achieved when working with the upper end of the battery's voltage range); and I prefer my vapor moist and tasty (which is most easily achieved when working with a cart that is more full than empty); I change both my battery and my cart whenever I perceive my vapor to be getting cooler or drier than I prefer (or when there is even the slightest hint of an undesirable taste).

I take the battery-end storage plug and cap from my fresh cart and put them on the cart I was using; and then add between 5 and 10 drops of juice from the opened-up mouth end. I then re-install the silicone ring to the point that it is touching the filler material; re-insert the white tip; cap it off with the mouth-end storage cap from the fresh cart; and then set it aside for later use. And because I usually have at least three carts in rotation, my topped-off carts end up sitting around for hours before being re-used - which helps ensure the well-balanced distribution of juice that we get with a new pre-filled cart.

Even though adding juice from the battery end can be convenient in a pinch, it promotes dirty contacts and doesn't allow you to see what you're doing. And since having too much juice in a cart results in poor exhale vapor, possible juice-in-the-mouth, and the filler-discoloring, taste-ruining, boiling of juice (that will tend to render a cart unusable), I find the extra steps required to add juice from the mouth-end (like the manufacturer does) to be worth the effort.

As for the number of puffs per cart, I don't know what is possible, nor do I care to try and find out. All I know is that I usually get about 30-40 really good hits before I'm switching both battery and cart. Of course, this doesn't count the many single or double primer puffs I like to blow out through my nose, the sides of my mouth, and/or the inlet air holes. Not only do I like the primer puffs for the small cloud of vapor I can see as I take my hit, but they're also an effective way to confirm that all is well with vapor production before I start the draw that I will be ultimately inhaling.

I use a tiny flat-head screwdriver (like found in the sets sold by drug stores and dollar stores for a buck or two) to remove the white tip and silicone ring. The little round head on the handle works great for evenly pushing the silicone ring down to where it needs to be as well. Nevertheless, since I'm generally not out and about any longer than a few hours at a time, I don't usually carry the screwdriver around with me. But, if I were to work outside the house, or otherwise be out and about most of the day, then I'd probably just carry around extra carts (gently putting the plug in the mouth-end of my used carts to distinguish them from my unused carts), and let all my topping off activity wait until I get home.

There does tend to be a negligible amount of juice on the silicone ring, so washing your hands when you're done is a good practice to have. Especially if you tend to rub your eyes.

I have recently been forced to realize that if you take a cart too low before topping it off, that it becomes important to add a few drops through the battery end of the cart. I haven't exactly been the biggest fan of the battery end approach, but the truth is that the atomizer wick and blanket (that are located in the center of the cart) are best accessed and moistened from the battery end. So, what I do now is I first add 3-5 drops via the battery end, and then finish my topping off from the mouth end to ensure that I do not overfill. And since my mouth end drops are being targeted exclusively towards the outer ring of filler material (rather than down the center hole), I have stopped feeling the need to mess with the litlle silicone plugs.

In addition to the benefits of not needing to mess with the plugs, knowing that the atomizer wick and blanket are well-moistened, and being assured that the cart is not being over-filled, is the quite notable benefit of the richest taste of your favorite juice you're going to get.
