question about nic base

Hello all newbie here to the forums after a while of lurking love the forum BTW

I recently purchased 500ml of 25 pg/ 75 pg 26ml nic base from M.F.S, well I was kind of let down
because it smelled so bad like burning rubber ,i could smell it through my diy ejiuce.i did
a little research and after reading a few post i decided to let it sit for 24 hours, shook it up
really good and let it sit some more.

end result smell and taste still there just not as strong i tried one more new batch placed it in the bag and knocked it over wasted a lot of it so i need to reorder some more nic base i really do not want to go through M.F.S again in fear
i will get another batch of these strong smelly stuff im thinking of wizard labs would they be
any better ???

also would i need to add vg/pg to it or would i be able to vape it just as it
is ? i would order the 26% nic which is what I want to vape so i would not need to cut it at all
for a less nic % but I just was not sure if the nic from wizard labs was pure form nic or a nic base
like at MFS any input would be great thanks in advance !

I have heard of people getting some odd smells from nic mixes from certain vendors before. You could try cutting it with some distilled water and see if that helps any, or add some more vg to sweeten and even out the taste. Are you using light flavors or bold flavors? If I use light flavors I almost double my target flavor %. I have never had weird batches of nic that give off a strong odor but i'm sure there will be someone to chime in on that portion of your post in a little bit and give you some suggestions.

If you want to vape at 26% I would recommend getting a higher % base so you can cut. There are e-liquid calculators out there that do the math for you and you will save some money buying a larger %.

You can vape unflavored if that is your target nic % in the base, a lot of people do that. It gives its own unique flavor to the eliquid (sweet and a little bit of a punch). I order from Wizard Labs myself and their nicotine does contain a base, either pg or vg (you can choose), I find that it works well for me and they are great people down there.

I've read on here of some getting nasty nic. If it smells bad in the bottle, it's gonna taste bad when you vape it. I buy 100mg nic base from RTS and it's always been good. JMHO
