I started vaping end of january, was a two pack a day smoker for 25 years.Ive had a couple cig relapses where id smoke about 10 cigs for one day and then start vaping again. Last cig was 9 days ago. My setup is a 300w wismec gen 3 with a gnome tank that has a triple .2 coil. Ive been making my own juice with nic levels ranging from 3mg to 18mg. I am having a really hard time figuring out what level nic I should be using. I cant tell if I am having nic withdrawals or too much nic. My anxiety is really high. Having a really hard time sleeping, and ive seen that can be kind of normal when you first start vaping. Ive been vaping 10-12mg juice during the day and 4mg in the evenings. My question is, with the setup I have should i be using a lower level nic juice? I read on a post that nic output is a lot different on a single battery mod compared to a triple battery high powered subohm tank.

You’ve got a big DL setup which theoretically should use a lot of juice so lower nic is indicated. The nic levels you’re describing don’t sound that high to me though. I vape 10mg all day with DL equipment. The 18 would likely be too much though. You could try 6mg. That’s a common number for DL vapers

If you are having difficulty sleeping, try using a lower mg nic in the evening (at least 2 or 3 hours before bed). If you think 18 is too high for the daytime, maybe drop to 6-10 during the day. Also there will be some level of withdrawal from the other chemicals in smoke, and for you anxiety could be one of the symptoms. Since you DIY you could try adding some WTA to your juice to see if that helps. You can buy some at umbavape.com

I recommend you to start vaping on 3mg nicotine only, you may suffer for 2 weeks or not, but this is better for you, I was smoking for 25 years also 2 packs a day , vaping save me, I vape on 3nic bazooka ice, blvk unicorn frznChee and grape on ice ruthless and I'm happy now, I get dizziness and was nervous on the first 2 weeks of quitting but just keep going, make a decision and never come back, good luck

WTA helped me a lot as I was detoxing. Some people use it routinely some transition off. It contains compounds found in tobacco that result in anti-anxiety and anti-depressant effects. It's not cheap, but can be very useful for some.

thumbs up on WTA

Umbavape.com has a pretty good one, there are better but a lot more expensive.

I think you should do what you are comfortable with but I will say I've known smokers to take St. John's wart without interactions, and WTA is essentially some of the "tobacco" alkaloids without the combustion risk.

However, if you have concerns, there is absolutely nothing wrong with just sticking to what you are using and the added benefit will be once detox is done, it's over and no need to have to taper WTAs.

Best of luck moving forward!

+1 on the overall lower nic levels... once i left cartos for sub-ohm, i went from 18mg to 6mg and still felt it hit pretty hard. You can always mix it lower, and if it's not cutting it for you, drop a little more nic in the mix.

Good luck experimenting, and like others have said, you may just need to give it some time for your body to adjust. It's worth it to stick with it, though...i promise!

So I have decided to give the WTA a try. This detox has been to brutal and is driving me bonkers. 4 hours of sleep a night cant fall asleep till 4-5am wake up at 10, going on for over a month now, straight bonkers...
The one I am thinking of getting is Unflavored WTA Whole Tobacco Alkaloid 24 MG
So if I get the extra high 36mg wta and I am making my own juice do I just treat this like my nicotine base?
example recipe just so I know im doing this right:
20ml, 6mg, 30pg/70vg
36mg wta 16.65% = nic base?
PG 25%
VG 53.35%
flavoring 5%

Also is this safe to use with my setup being 300w .2 subohm? What wattage settings work best for WTAs?
thanks
