Not a complaint... Just need to know so that I do it differently next time.

On Sunday the 21st, I placed an order for stronger carts, because I realized that the 18's and 11's I had weren't going to cut it for me. I was thinking I'd get them between wed and fri... my first order took took 3 days despite a major snowstorm etc...

Now it's looking like my Sunday the 21st order won't be here until Monday 3/1... (according to the online tracking system...)

So, yeah, I may have put myself in a position to need a handful of analogs.

The question is...
Will order/processing and ship times be fairly inconsistent as V4L is growing so fast?
and the other question is... why did my first order ship from Chicago and it appears that my third order is shipping from San Jose?

*Update.... my fourth order, which I ordered on the 23rd... left from chicago and will likely be at my house today... why is the third order slower than the fourth? Bother orders were for about 50.00 worth of carts each

Who really knows why one order moves quicker than another? If you order on a sunday,it doesnt ship till monday or tuesday. They dont ship on the weekend.Sometimes it takes a day or two to catch up.3-4 days is pretty quick,4-5 isnt to bad either.Be patient and try to have some backup so you dont feel rushed to get it.I always order before I really need to have it.

At this time, orders get out the door/ship within 48 hours of them being placed. The only exception to this is orders places on Friday nights/Saturday mornings. Presently, we don't ship on Saturdays (and Sundays isn't an option) so these orders won't go out until Monday afternoon.

As far as travel time/San Jose... USPS is notoriously bad at updating tracking information. I posted a thread a few months ago with almost the same issue as you. USPS listed my package as going from Chicago to California (I live in Boston). I don't know how this listing came about, but it was definitely in error as I received the package the next day.

I've come to use USPS as a guideline about where my package is, but I take their tracking with a grain of salt. I've come to realize that if tracking information isn't updated at all? It doesn't mean the package isn't making progress. Most likely, it means someone just neglected to scan properly.

If my package is listed as being somewhere absurd? I figure this is likely an error. In the rare case that it really was misshipped, USPS is fairly good at getting things back on track.

I'm crossing my fingers for USPS getting on the ball with tracking sometime. Def. not holding my breath, unfortunately.

With all the snow storms, USPS is all out of whack. I find my packages are pretty consistent. I order once a week, and I've gotten down to the routine of knowing for example, if I place an order on sunday, I'm going to receive it thurs or friday. If I place an order on tuesday, I'll receive it saturday. You'll get into the groove of things eventually!

You don't have to stock up like most of us crazies do, but always have a little extra to last you till your next order! ;)
