Question about orders from Litecigusa...

I ordered some cartomizers from them, and they are already shipped and should be here tomorrow. However, nowhere in my online bank statement does it show that they actually charged my card for this order. I would assume they have and my statement isn't showing it for one reason or another, but I want to make sure my book keeping is up to date so I don't overdraft something in case they haven't charged it for some reason. Anyway, has anyone else noticed this with any order from them before, where they charge your card sometime after they ship?

I already contacted them about it and am awaiting a reply. It just seemed really strange.

Naw, it's US Bank. My sister uses Bank of America and was just telling me that when she orders stuff online, sometimes the charge will show initially, then it will disappear for a few days for some reason. Makes no sense to me, as I've never seen that on my account before. Anyway, they responded very quickly and show that they have indeed charged me, so it's all good.

basically...when you make the transaction the store's cc vendor (not the store) will check available funds/do a funds hold (typically a 24hour hold) - that's the initial charge you see...but then the cc vendor has to present the actual charge to the bank, which depending on the vendor (i think they have 30 days) could take a bit, most do it in batches and may show up a day to several days later - i've had some go as long as a couple weeks, but not past that...
