I'm scared to death that I'm opening a whole can of worms with this question just from what I've seen while lurking the site. But..... I saw somewhere to not leave your 510 in your pcc after it had finished charging because it would drain the battery on your pcc. If, like some say, once the light turns green, that's it, it dosen't charge anymore, then it shouldn't drain your battery on your pcc to leave it in there, right? Or have I not gotten enough sleep for way too many nights and have completly messed up thinking? Any opions or actual experiances? Many thanks. This has been bugging me.

There are 3 lights on the PCC. The top light is for the 510 battery when it is charging it will be red , when it is ready the red light goes out. The next light down is a red light that will come on when the actual PCC battery needs to be recharged. The last light is a green light that will come on once the PCC itself is fully charged.

I have used mine long enough to tell you that when a battery is done being charged you need to take it out because the pcc will sill be working. Best thing to do is flip the 510 battery around so the led is facing down...it won't be charging and you can continue to store the battery in there until needed.

Good tips!! esp. turning it around. At first I never saw the middle red one come on. I thought it just meant that the unit wasn't getting a good electrical charge to charge the battery initially... but then I finally saw it come on. Aha!

When I read my instructions, I'm led to believe that when the battery charging light goes off, the charger quits charging and doesn't charge again until the batter is low again. I really don't think it would drain the PCC that fast, and if it did it would just be because it's keeping your battery charged, and that's the whole purpose of the PCC anyway.

There is a supposed to be a voltmeter in the PCC so that when the battery is fully charged, the PCC knows to stop charging it. You should be able to just leave your battery in there. In the Video Review section of ECF, igetcha made a video review of the PCC, and I believe in it he says he would simply pop his battery in the PCC when done vaping, and remove it when he was ready for his next vape, and got nearly a week's life out of it.

I saw surf-monk repor this but it didn't seem to be the case with mine. Putting it in upside down- the led will not go down into the charger and it makes the box hard to close- I just leave it in- and switch batteries when I see the one in the Pcc is charged.

All PCCs are not created equal (thanks to the chinese quality control, I guess) I ended with two of them because my first suplier was taking too long to ship and in the first one is virtually imposible to place the 510 battery upside down... simpy does not fit. I may be wrong (of course!) but I am leaving the batteries in the PCC.

I really don't mind the can of worms, myself. I just want to decide whether or not to keep the battery in the case. I'm starting to think there are actually more than one kind of PCC and that's why some behave differently. For instance, I was thinking that some people can't get an atomizer with a cartridge on it in there, but I can. Maybe there's a difference in the PCC's that have a slot for the manual battery and those that don't. Talen, does yours have the slot for the manual battery?

Mine accepts a cart/atty because I squished the rubber stopper down in the atty hole and if easily takes the batt upside down. If someone was careful they could drill all the holes to fit atty/cart combo. Mine is starting to have trouble with connection so I believe I will gut it and wire up a screw in connector. Probably remove the whole top half so it will hold a 3ml bottle of juice. Haven't fully decided yet. I may also just remove the battery pack and create a whole new box that fits my needs better

also mine doesn't seem to run down if I leave the battery in. I guess they're all different
