Okay, so I've been vaping for a couple of months (hollaaa) and I have a itaste VV with a protank 2. the coils I am using are the Kanger 2.2 (I think). so long story short, I went and bought a few more tanks, but this time I just bought the protank mini. when I vaped from them I realized that either A) something is wrong with my protank 2 or B) the protank 2 just plainly sucks. So when I pull on the protank 2 I really have to suck (I hate that word), however, when I vape with the mini it's almost effortlessly. I've changed the coils, re-assembled it, and it's still the same. Is this how everyones is? or do I have a faulty one?

One thing I have notices with the ProTank II is that if the device doesn't allow airflow from below the 510 connection then the airflow is very tight. At least in my experience. For example when I put the ProTank 2 on my iTaste VTR the draw is very tight, but when I put it on my chi_you clone with the airflow control, it is quite a bit more airy.

Every time that the draw is to tight on a Protank II that I've used it has been the insulator at the bottom. You can take the coil head out and at the very bottom of it is a "rubber" insulator and you can go around and trim that up with either nail clippers, or I find that a razor blade works much better for me. Give this a shot and let me know how it turns out!

My protank ii mini has been a champ since day 1, I haven't changed anything on it, just coils. I have a nice airy draw full of flavour and vapour. The thing is is that the QC on these things aren't good. It's a lottery whether you get a good unit or have to fiddle and buy an aerotank base, etc. I build my coils when they need replacing, and that's it. I use 80% PG liquid if that makes any difference. The PG is thinner than VG

Thanks! I'm gonna stop by my local B&M and see if they have the aero base, if not I'll just order it online. Lets see if that works. If not, I'll just stick to my minis haha

I doubt you'll find the aero base in a local B&M but I highly recommend them.

One thing you can try is taking the base from your Mini to Protank and see if that changes the draw any.
