When i put the battery in on full charge it will start at 4.2. It wont be long before it drops, i haven't been vaping hard lately. About half a day and it will be around 3.8 3.6, and i notice it because i am getting a lot less vapor. Put a full charged batt in and lots of vapor. Seems right, but i thought somewhere i heard that they maintain a lvl of power until it dies. I normally vape at 4.2. Any thoughts?

Something else must be going on because the Provari has regulation that will keep the output voltage equal to the set voltage until it's time to recharge the battery. It has one of the better regulators at doing this. Are you using a recommended high drain battery with it?

It's normal for the battery voltage to drop to what your saying during that time period of use but the output voltage should not drop with the battery voltage.

Cartos will fade with use but that shouldn't be effected by the battery. If you're positive the output voltage is dropping as the battery drains it could be a regulator issue but the Provari has error codes that are supposed to show if there's a malfunction. You'll need something to check the output voltage with to be sure though. If you've got a Harbor Freight close they usually have multimeters for around 10 bucks, Lowes or Home Depot should have them for about the same price. I'd recommend getting one anyway, they are a valuable tool for any person vaping.

If it is a regulator issue contact Provape, they have stellar customer service and will get you going.

Come to think of it, this did start after i used a different carto. They are dekang 3.0

Ahh ok I replied before I saw this. Yes a different carto can effect the vape. I suspect that's what's happened. If it was a regulator issue you should be getting a error message.

It's probably a higher resistance carto than you were using previously. Just raise the voltage on the Provari to find your sweet spot and you should be good to go.
