Hi, I'm new to the forum but have been in the world of vaping for about 8 years now, due to it being the only thing that got my wife to quit, and I do it for enjoyment.
Short version, I'm been rebuilding my coils for a few months now and it's been a bit of a hobby, but also found that we were going through quite a bit of atomizers with bad ones on a fairly regular basis and it was getting expensive. We've got Melo 2 tanks, using various coils from Eleaf, then switched to Vaporesso ceramic, which are great/easy to rebuild, but these coils are compatible with a lot of tanks from various makes.
My coils have been quite fine and with practice, most I rebuild have the desired setup, hitting the 0.2 Ohm on Nickel 200 for Temp. control (TC). No spitting or popping, they work extremely well, even better than the pre-built ones.
My question: even though I measure everything very well, I find that between my rebuilds, I can get some that (using the TC) will be giving a good warm vape at 420-460F, while others I need to go in the 560(give or take) to have the same warmth. Any idea what the reason might be?
I've done a lot of reading and searches, but I can't find anything about this anywhere, so I'm hoping that someone might have an explanation...
