I got a reo mini 2 days ago and it was great at first. But i've run into a string of bad luck the magnet fell out of the door and i used a drop of super glue to put it back in. oops now the door doesnt really want to work right. So with some heat i got the magnet out and cleaned everything (without destroying the finish of the mini) but, the magnet lost its grip.. any suggestions.

the second thing i ran into was the mini seems to leak when turned upside down and i didnt notice that when i first got it. (think i answered my own question while asking it) was running 100% vg from the beginning. Now i am using a 50/50 mix could that be the problem?

Looking forward to some suggestions from the reonauts.

thanks you for looking.

Magnets...I would send Rob a PM and let him know.

Leaking? ....well now, I'd say PM Rob on this one as well. I've never had that problem...with the exception of a couple of autofeeding incidences. It could be the juices, but I think its a good idea to ask him if there is a fix. The other thing you can do is grab the reducer tube and stick it in the end of the feed tube. That will restrict the flow of the juice making it hard for autofeeding to occur. :) Keep us posted.

I had planned on calling or pm'ing tomorrow in hopes that he could shed some light. As far as the magnet i was hoping to just pick up another from him or possibly one that was a little stronger.

I purchased the mini used and unfortunately it did not come with the reducer tube and as stated up until now i might aswell have been pumping syrup through it because the juice i was using was super thick. Thank you everyone for your help and i will play with it some tonight and report back. was just more or less trying to confirm whether the leaking was normal or not.

just a quick update. I took apart the bottle setup and cleaned the o-ring. I also put an a 1/16 od brass tube i had to act as a reducer. I think i tightened the bottle on the cap to much which caused the o-ring to get pushed to far up. Now will just chat with Rob tomorrow about a replacement magnet. Correct me if im wrong but, i would guess that over time the magnet would get weaker and loose strength. Has anyone figured a way to either add more magnets or found a stronger magnet so that the door doesn't fall if you tap it to hard.

So that nobody gets the wrong idea i am not complaining i absolutely love my mini and it works fantastic. As with everything there is a learning curve. =)

thank you all for your help.

Sacredgaming, I wonder if maybe you put the magnet back into the door backwards. The magnet fell out of mine yesterday. I was able to recover it and pop it back in, and then realized I did so backwards so the door wasn't "latching". Remember, magnets have positive and negative poles, and if you put the magnet back in the wrong way the magnets will repel each other.

Unfortunately the magnet popped out a second time and is now somewhere underneath a friend's deck. I've PMed Rob for options, but in the meantime I tried running without a door and ultimately decided to tape the door back on with electrical tape. Makes it harder to change the battery, but not terribly so.
