Hello,
I have been lurking the ecf forums for about a month now and I have learned so much.
My sister informed me about ecigs when she told me she was using a Greensmokes brand and it was the best one out. It was too costly for me so I did a search on ecigs and found this forum.
WOW is all I can say. I am so happy I found you. Needless to say I saved myself a lot of money.
I purchased a Riva 510 from Liberty Flights and they were having a sale at the time.
The thing is, I want to purchase another battery and Im confused on what to buy. A lot of sites sell 510 batteries but they are slimmer. The batteries on the Riva look so much like the ego but mine has a gold band. Will any of these batteries that are 510 models be compatible with my Riva?
I like the batteries I have now as they last a long time but I do want to have a spare.
There are only a few sites that sell Riva branded batts and I want to find a site where I can purchase batteries atomizers and carts all in one spot to save on shipping. It seems like one site will have the batts but are sold out of atomizers and vise versa. What batts will work with my Riva 510?
As much as I have learned from you all this one still confuses me.
Thank you for all the great info and saving me bundles of money.

Welcome A1ang!
Congratulations on becoming a vaper and picking an awesome first kit!
The 510 part of your Riva only refers to the fitting, the part the atomizer or cartomizer screws into. You can use a 510 battery, but that refers to a smaller, slimmer battery which was the original 510. You can use any battery you like as long as it has a 510 fitting and it will fit the attys you have. Clear as mud? That means, you could buy an Ego battery (510 connection) or a 510 Riva battery or a (slim) 510 battery.
Living in the US you have a multitude of sites you can get supplies from. Some of the US members here can surely steer you in the right direction. If you can wait for the shipping, the Chinese sites carry all the popular batteries and surely have some in stock. I bought an Ego extra long 900 Mah battery as a back up from Heaven Gifts for 15 bucks and it works great! Lasts me 2 days! Time will tell if it lasts but I still have my original KR batts I bought from them a year ago and they still work fine.
Cheers!

Yeah, pretty much any battery with a 510 threating with work with any atty or carto with a 510 threading. It's all about the 510. If a part you get is meant for a 510 model then it will work on any other 510 model. This means they will "fit. It doesn't mean they will work well together however due to voltages and whatnot. If you are unsure, as you did here, just ask.

Liberty Flights is a fantastic site, but they run out of stock a lot lately. You might want to try Cignot, Madvapes, or LiteCigUSA. They all have 510 stuff that will work with any 510, Riva or eGo battery, and they're all great folks to work with.

Congrats on a great choice! Now...go vape your head off!

Ive noticed that about their stock. I actually wanted to order from them again as their customer service was awesome. It took awhile to receive my Riva due to the big sale. I kind of panicked when I didnt get a confirmation for my order after a few days. I emailed them and got a reply with in an hour. Abe reassured be everything was fine, they were running behind, and put me at ease :)
I will try the other sites you suggested.
As far as vaping my head off...today I have done just that. I received my new juices yesterday and one of them is so good I just cant stop myself :)
