Question about sales

I am currently using a 2+ year old 510 and ready to upgrade to an ego style model. I read a few things on here about thanksgiving (black friday) and xmas sales that go on. is it worth waiting for a few weeks for these sales? are they really good or just 20% off or something like that. what i would really be interested in would be a 2 for 1 on ego starter kits so i can upgrade my dad as well. can you usually expect something like this for these sales? can someone give me an example of sales in the past.

We never know for certain what and when sales will be. Last year there were a lot of good sales between Thanksgiving and Christmas BUT neither were there fantastic over the top sales like a 2 for 1 ego starter kit sale. At least I'm not remembering any. Most of the sales were along the lines of 10% off from a vendor that rarely gives any discount amount off OR if a vendor normally gives 5% off they did 10 or 15% off. Some vendors had some specific items that they gave decent discounts off but don't expect to see fantastic OMG I'm getting it for almost nothing sales.

With all that said, keep your eyes open for what you consider a good price and if you see one make your purchase. I bought some Boge cartos this morning for 99 cents ea with no shipping which I consider a good sale so I bought and didn't wait for the holiday sales.
