Question about Seal vs Unsealed Dripper

Looking at picking up some drippers for less fuss use at home. Specifically the KP Long Barrels. Drippers can come in sealed and unsealed varieties. After some investigation what I have gathered is that the sealed seem to work transparently to the unsealed? Unsealed is essentially for bottom feeding mods? As I don't own, and don't intend to try a bottom feeding mod anytime soon, is there any reason to get unsealed drippers, or is performance and flavor exactly the same?

I drip exclusively using Joye 510 attys that I get at DigitalCiggz.com for around $2 each. I love them. I can not answer your question, I am sorry to say. But I bet someone in this following thread can. Please do go and read a bit and ask your question there. I think you will love dripping, the flavor is amazing.

I've always dripped with unsealed attys. I didn't even know sealed existed until recently.
