I just shipped a couple of ejuices that I sold from the ecf classifieds. As this was my first experience with shipping juice, I was a bit caught off guard when the postal clerk asked me if the packages contained any perishables, liquids, fragile items, etc.
I told him that the packages contained liquid and they should not get too hot. He asked me what type of liquid and at a loss, I just blurted out "oils". He then asked if they're flammable, and I said "no". He proceeded to stamp the packages and it turned out ok, but I thought I'd check here to get a better idea of how to handle such a situation.
I remember reading somewhere on here that the postal service is not comfortable with shipping ejuice. I wasn't sure if that's an official policy, or something they might be working towards. Will they refuse to ship it, if they know what it is? If so, what does one say when they ask the question about liquids, perishables, etc.?
Similarly, what's the deal with paypal? I know people always say not to mention ecigs when using pp, but is that precautionary, or do they have a policy prohibiting e-cig sales on their site?
