Hello guys i just built my first dual coil SS316L gauge 26 on my velocity and I am wondering what preheat watts i should set on escribe. I loaded escribe and set the preheat at 65W and normal vaping watts at 45w Is that correct?

what is escribe?

Maybe you should mention what mod you are talking about.

use steam-engine.org , the coil wrapping tab, and check the watts icon over on the right.

Starting out should be low to break in the coils. Then a tank or two later you can buff it up. Then keep bumping till you get the ramp up you want

FWIW, for the life of me I could not get SS316 working right on the DNA200. Downloaded the 316L profile from Steam Engine, uploaded it and it basically hits temp protection as soon as I hit the fire button. It doesn't matter what preheat I set it at. And trying to manually entering a TCR doesn't help either since Escribe only accepts a minimum TCR of 100. It works fine in power mode though.
