One of the reasons why i bought that smok majesty luxe mod was to be able to also use mtl tanks with it. And that berserker tank will not even look ridiculous- it's not a small tank, and the only color they had on the online sale happened to mstch my gold mod :)
Yep, they will work fine together. With the Berserker mini, which is single coil of course, you're going to be after resistances of like .6 (.5 maybe) at the low end and maybe even as high as 1.5 ohms on the high end.

I'm usually at like .8 or 1 ohm for mtl. That means very low wattages and looooong battery life :) Even with a single battery mod.

Hi guys need a bit of help here, I just installed that rba base while watching a few yt vids. With the coils that came with it, reading at 0.24ohm. I've pulsed it on 51W, checked for hot spots (as best as I could judging by wht I saw the guys did on yt), wicked it as best as I could. Primed the wicks. Screwed everything together, waited a couple of minutes. 70VG, 4.5mg juice. Started at 45W, few hits, went up to 65W, +5W at a time. Hard preheat.

Results: two of the smoke alarms in my flat went off :D but that's not the reason why I post lol

I might have overprimed the wicks. However, I'm halfway through the 3.5ml tank and the cracking and gurgling noises won't go away on the pull. Tried adjusting the airflow, changing the preheat to normal, turned the watts down to 55W. Gurgling and cracking remains. Vapor production is intense. Flavor ain't bad, however I think that the factory coil I used before gave a slightly better flavor. I get no spitbacks just the gurgling and cracking that I can't get rid off, so any advice welcome.

Another thing I noticed is the tank heating up a lot, mainly at 65W. Found that table and it shows that I can go from 43.7-73.5W with the 0.24ohm coil. So 65 ain't max.

Should I be concerned about that?
I have most of the RBA for smok products I don't really usually like smok but I do like their rba's. That being said you tend to have to use at least 40 or above watts to get them to work especially the dual coil it might even be at 60. bubbles coming up are normal that means liquid is pushing air out which is what you want to do. I think they usually just kind of get warm especially if you have the airflow closed at all. And if you open the airflow wide open then it's just too Airy. If it's vaping okay and you're not getting burnt heads can I get spit back you're probably okay. Sometimes playing around with the wicking can help the major gurgling could just be too much saturation which can be solved by adding a little bit of a bigger Wick but not too big so that it makes dry makes dry hits. They're all a little bit fiddly they get a little bit too warm in my opinion but I like them all I even use the tfv4 I think it is and that sucker gets really hot

You will also get HUGE bragging rights. I don't know of any other vaper that uses a tfv12 tank AND a beserker mini RTA

Thanks, I managed to solve all the issues with the assistance of very helpful folks down here- all was due to my noob wicking. I've cut the wick longer, used more wick, and used better quality wick. Second successful wicking going strong now, no dry hits, no more gurgling, and no more overheating either.
Right now I vape at 61.1W. Yes, you're right about the wattage, I tried it at 40 and it wasn't great, it made some vapor but no flavor. I noticed 55-65W range works well for me. Tried higher but too warm vape for me and i'd start feeling a little funny taste after a few quick hits, also the juice i vape now is 11mg and I noticed it was a bit too strong above 70

I just ordered another tank. Another bargain. Again Vandy Vape tank but this time Berserker mini MTL RDA ;)
I am aware that there was berserker mini v2 released afterwards, where reviewers claimed that it is better than the original. But I also saw reviews from the time when the original was released, and everybody seemed to be happy with it. So I don't see why I won't be, at 50% price of V2. Once they release V3 or V2 goes on sales like the original, I'll also get it ;)

Now I'm looking for a budget regulated squonking mod. That berserker mini mtl rda I just ordered is squonk compatible, one of the reasons I bought it

I'm PMing you an option for the squonk mod. There's only a few left in stock

Well, there's a bunch of us here who definitely know where this is goin. Don't let yourself be unsupervised with the credit card. You've been warned.

A perfectly splendid strategy indeed. Newer, by itself, is NOT necessarily better.
