I received my MVP 2 yesterday in the mail (yay!) I love it! It came to me charged, and I was able to start vaping on it right away. I haven't put it on the charger yet though. I was wondering if I should let the charge run down a bit (or all the way) before I put it on the charger? Anything else I should know about charging it?

Thanks!

I love my MVP2 also! I charge mine when the light turns yellow. The only issue I've had with mine is I've had to pull the center pin so it will make contact with certain tanks. I never had this issue until I put a kayfun lite + clone on it. The positive pin on the clone is very long and it pushed the center pin down too far and caused it short against the housing. Now I put a small plastic washer on the KFL+ before scewing it on.

Yeah, the B&M that sold me my MVP said "treat it like a cell phone and let it drain all the way" BUT the more professional B&M I now frequent said the technology in that battery doesn't require a full drain, and to charge it whenever you want.

I let it get down to yellow light and charge it (I'm a little weird about the yellow light LOL). Had it for about a month and no issues with battery whatsoever.

Glad you got an MVP! Isn't it the greatest thing? I liked mine so much that I got another one for a back up pretty quickly. I've found that I can get between 700 and 800 puffs on the puff counter before I need to charge, so that's what I look at to decide to put mine on the charger. It's really convenient to have two of them. I feel very secure.:)

I'm retired and if I'm going to be at home, I will let the puff count go higher before I charge. If I'm heading out in the car, I usually put it on the charger at about 700 puffs, and take the fresh one with me, because I don't want to run dry while I'm out and about.

Is there a way to check the display to see how much battery it has left? I'm way impressed with this thing.

Press the P and U buttons at the same time. The first number is the resistance of your coil (it likes like an A to me, but supposed to be an R for resistance). The second number it shows is the voltage strength of the battery (looks like a U, but supposed to be a V). The voltage strength is the charge in your MVP2 battery, basically. 4.2 is fully charged, around 3.5 it will start to go yellow.
