I just received the ipro today and I was wondering how do I go about changing the connection cap? I purchased it with the 510 cap and realized that I would rather use the 808 cap with a 510 adaptor but I can't figure out how to switch them out and don't want to risk damaging it so I figured I'd ask here.

I tried taking the screw out but the cap didn't seem to budge.

Thanks!

OK
1. loosen the top center screw
2. take a round screwdriver etc. and stick it in the side hole on the top cap (match the hole size as best you can)
3. unscrew the top cap ( be careful there is a wire inside attached to it )
4. use a cross head screwdriver and HOLD the RING terminal NOT THE WIRE !!! , and unscrew the screw that holds the wire on.
5. Replace with new top cap , reverse these instructions.

I am a potential/probable buyer of the IP ... been vaping for 2 yrs, finally ready for vv ... done my research, been reading the threads here ... still a few questions I haven't found answers to

1) the majority of ppl here seem to like/use the BP (I know it's been around longer, IP is new-ish) ... since the electronics are the same, so I've read, why the preference ? ... longer lasting batts, or ?

2) what is approximate charge time of the 14430's, assuming 90% depleted, using the tr-001 charger ?

I guess that's all for now, I know most answers are here somewhere, just not much feedback on the IP it seems

looking forward to my first vv ... thanks

1) Personal form factor preference mostly. My BP's batts do last longer but I still get 10 - 12 hours out of my IP's batts so that's still pretty good.

2) I leave mine on for at least 3 or 4 hours even though the lights go green sooner than that.

I like the way the IP feels in my hand slightly better than my BP but my BP is the only one without a wooden veneer so it's my every day device. Hope this helps.

I only have an original infinity and a buzz pro.

Run time for me is the same, 6 - 7 ml between battery changes. The bp powerizer batteries and the original infinity batteries tested effectively the same by mike, my experience is consistent with that.

Infinity is, to me, the more elegant looking, due to the slimmer, longer, form factor.

Bp is a slightly cleaner fit with a tank, to me, as bp diameter is just slightly wider than the tank, while infinity is noticeably thinner.

Charge time is around 3 hours.

The ip with charger and one pair of batteries for $110 is a real steal. Personally I have 3 pairs of batts, since on a really heavy, long, day of vaping I may just touch the second pair and I like to have a backup, though all 3 pairs of infinity batts from feb are still going strong.

Either pv, with an m1a1 tank and a good carto is vaping bliss :) I have my all day eliquid, and nudge the voltage slightly up or down during the day to change the hit and taste.

They are both real workhorses, mike has super cs, vaping is now as simple as smoking used to be.

thanks all for your answers ... glad to hear about the charge and run time ... I'll probably try a few things before I settle on hrdwr

I do use 100% vg due to pg making me sick no matter what % ... any problems using all vg ? ... any normal maintenance tips ?

I guess the most important question now is what is the lead time from from order to ship ? :)

I can't speak for others, but I've had zero leak issues with mike's m1a1, had it since it came out, I believe over 3 months. I've used boge, v4l cool carts, nhaler mega 808, ikenvape fusions, running over 6ml of eliquid through it every day.

My eliquid is a pretty thin diy vanilla tobacco, about 65% pg, 5% pga, 30% vg (the flavorings both have some pga). Other than for blowing through the carto when I refill (i fill from the top, always get some down the center tube), nothing to it.

The M1A1 tank is pretty much leak proof so far , filling is very easy with the syringe just pull the screw and fill it ! . the thickness of the juice has nothing really to do with the device but with the carto/atty/tank setup and mainly the carto you use and hole size.

We have 1,000's of BP's in the market and have a pretty low failure rate for a tube packed with electronics.
