I've been thinking about buying a Kayfun for a while now and today I managed to nag my wife untill she finally gave in. I ordered the Kayfun 3.1 from Vaper rev.

I noticed that in the description the clear tank that comes with it is made from something called makrolon. I've never heard of this, but it appears to be some sort of plastic. I vape a lot of cinnamon and lime juices and have been thinking about using some banana juices as well. My question is whether the normal rules about plastic and juice apply to this tank. I assumed that they do, but just wanted to confirm.

This is probably a dumb question or has been answered somewhere else, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

Thanks!

Makrolon is just a trade name for a polycarbonate type plastic, just as Lexan is. There have been some reports of deterioration of the Kayfun tanks, from using juices known to affect polycarbonates; especially at the threads. If you insist on using those types of juices, you'd be better off using the stainless tank, that comes installed on the Kayfun.
Personally, I won't use any juice flavorings that have been known to deteriorate plastic. But that's just me.
