I need some input. I want to build a nano tank. I have been studying/looking at the kayfun nano kit but then started thinking about a Taifun nano. Anyone have experience with a Taifun or Kayfun nano? I have a Kayfun 3.1 that I really enjoy, but was thinking of trying something new. I want a tank and 18350 mod for that short stealth look. I know everyone has their opinion the Kayfun -Taifun debate. Just asking the peanut gallery to get some ideas and input. Thank you!!

On a side note...are Kayfun and Taifun parts interchangable? I believe I read somewhere that they are.

I just found out today that the taifun wicking seems to be quite different from the kayfun (taifun doesn't have juice channels);
also the taifun has a 510 drip tip whereas kayfun uses something else.

Would be interesting to find out if the taifun uses kayfun size tanks.

I have both. Both are good for what they do. When you go nano juice runs out quick.

When rebuilding Taifun you just turn upside down and thread the body off to get to your coils. Juice stays in the top tank. A big plus. Kayfun when you need to get to coils everything comes out. Also Taifun wicks straight across right into the body.

On both I have drilled out the air holes. I build my coils below 1 so I needed the flow.

I have the Taifun, Kayfun 3.1, Kayfun Lite, and Fogger V4 all built and filled. They all work good. Just depends on what style you want. Right now after building the Fogger with dual 24 ga it's passing my other tanks up right now. But the Taifun is my ADV.

I like the Fogger, but it does not meet my requirement for a short set up.

All good. Both are good for the purpose. But if you any stealth then maybe Kayfun and buy the nano kit??

That was my original idea. Then I thought about the Taifun and was wondering if anyone is using that in nano mode. The more I think about it I think the Kayfun is going to be better. The Taifun is 23mm diameter, and won't be flush on a 22mm mod. If I can be convinced the Taifun will offer superior flavor that would sway me. Too many choices LOL.

You build your coils below 1 what? Below 1 airhole?

Below 1.0 ohms, sorry for not clarifying that.

Ah, ok; now just so I understand with the taifun gt,

1:
the wick can stick out like if it's a protank right? I mean it's almost like a rebuildable protank, right?

2:
Do you know of any glass tanks that will fit the taifun gt?
Like maybe one of the kayfun quartz tanks might fit?

Yes it sticks out of the wick holes on the side through the coil. You cut about 1-2mm sticking pass the wick hole so the tank can be threaded over.

Your second question that I don't know for sure. Haven't tried it.

Here is my link on my Taifun build.

Excellent pics man;

seems to me you could easily drip on that thing if you wanted... assumiing the chimney part screws on then add a drip tip
