RDA question about the magma rda

I just got my first mech mod and also to rdas magma dark horse my issue is I'm getting better flavour our of my dark horse then my magma I'm not sure if its my build my magma is single coil 10 wraps I had it at 6 my moved it up to 10 @ 1.4 ohms my dark horse is dual quad sleeper coil 6 wraps @ .27 ohmsI'm getting better flavour and huge clouds I wasn't expecting big clouds from my magma but my dark horse is alot better flavour as well is it the build I'm doing in my magma

I'm assuming you're using 28g? I use regulated mods, but I'm pretty sure 4.2 volts isn't enough power even for the single coil in the magma. I hit mine in single coil at around 5.1 volts running a 1.46 ohm coil, or about 17 watts. Your build looks ok, as long as its not hot spotting. Maybe try building down around 1 ohm? I also use the middle air hole, and it's one of the best vaping atty's I have.

Not related, but if you use just enough wick to hit the bottom of the juice well in the magma, I find that it leaks way less and has a much higher juice capacity. Assuming you keep in more or less vertical, that is.

I'm using my magma in my istick 30w so I'm using it around 5.5v @ 24.0w and yes 28g wire I tried it on my stingray just to see if the mod but still can't beat the dark horse but I can't run my dark horse on my istick because it supports .4 to like 3. Ohms so that why I tired to keep my magma at 1 ohm and it's not hot spotting its heating up nice from middle out and i'll try shorting the wick I'm was looking for a flavour chasing rda that's why I picked up the magma with my dark horse

IDK much about builds but I would think that dual coil seeing as it uses 2 wicks would have a bigger flavor than single coil. I'm just assuming here so I may be wrong.

On the magma move the coil back over the airhole and dont cover the airhole with wick! At least thats what it looks like from the photo!

Also, try with both holes on afc open, even with single coil build.

Agree with TOSS your coil on the magma needs to be centred over the air hole. Also there is way too much wicking in it. You only need tails touching the bottom of the juice well. That way it will hold was more juice too.
