Question about the new Atomizers!

Got my new Atomizers, as usual Steve provides great service. But i have an issue with the new atomizers that i just got today. Now this is the first time im seeing this, its also the first time im receiving the 11mg and 8mg carts so im not sure if its the whole lineup, or just these that do this but....

The air holes at the top of the cartridge, are MUCH bigger than the last batch of the carts. While the old carts had what looked like 4 little grooves in the top, these have bigger cutouts. The top of the cart looks like a little white castle roof.

These cutouts are about twice the length, and about twice the depth of the old carts.

What this means is MUCH more air and less vapor from these. While the old one always had a little "sizzle" to it while smoking it, these have a MUCH louder sound to them and dont seem to produce as much vapor because more air is being pulled into the cart and there is less suction.

If i cover 3 of the holes with my fingers, it smokes as normal.

Steve please tell me this is because i ordered the lower strength carts or something, and they want me to get less smoke on purpose. If not im kinda upset at this.

I might have to fill up a battery hole or two to use these things like the dude from that other thread.




I am working with china to resolve any issues, I do know my new atomizers will be different as I am using different people. I will replace if you are not happy. I will also refund.

I JUST got my VK kits tonight... and am having the SAME problem. Im not sure about the holes, but I see all the holes. I have nothing to compair them to other than my old ePuffer (ducking from the barrage of things being thrown for saying the "E" word lol!), but man, did that exhale like smoking a cigarette!
So anyway, I wrapped a piece of tape around the cart of the VK... pulled like I was trying to suck wet concrete through a straw... but I got alot of vapor on the exhale. I too am upset if this is the way its going to be....

Chill, which atomizers are you using, I get Massive Thoat Hit and Vapor from the mint one I am vaping. You do need to puff slow, and long. Let me know what I can do for you.

Is everyone talking about VK atomizers? if so.... does any one have 901 batteries? Try using the new VK atomizers on a 901 battery and see if it works. The old carts wouldn't work on the 901 batteries...I bet the new ones do.

Yes the battery end. The holes are clearly visible with it screwed in.

Now this is interesting. I've noticed that with one of the carts I got originally, when screwed down you can't even see the holes. And it does make that crackly kind of sound. However, with a new 0 nic cart it doesn't screw down as far and you can see the holes. I've tried vaping both for the same length of time. With the new ones you're definitely getting more air, but the vapor seems to be about the same. Personally I liked the crackly sound of the original, but I still get a good throat hit with my 8mg mint cartridge and lots of vapor.

Be interesting to see what Steve's take on this is.

[Edit] P.S. I will say this. The original kit came with a 24mg and 16mg. The 24 definitely "crackled" more than the 16. So the nicotine strength may have something to do with the way they are designed. Different strengths, different design. I don't get any throat hit off the 0 mg, but enjoy the minty taste. By pulling long on the 8mg, though, I do get a killer throat hit at times.

I am talking to China right now, trying to figure out the issue. I see some difference, I id not notice real difference in throat hit, and vapor production. I am so used to vaping while on the computer, I keep the VK in my mouth, I take nice easy, long draws. When I want huge vapor, I take 3 long draws, while swallowing the vapor, and breathing thru my nose.

I get HUGE vapor, so ......ummmm

I am gonna figure it out guy's. Email me direct, and we will work it out, but, please try smooth, easy draw.

I just compared to Janty kissbox extended, with manual, and 510 w manual, and still get bigger throat hit, and vapor with the King.

Tell me which flavor and strength you guys have. I received over 40 emails today from Happy customers, uummmm

email me, we will figure out. I have new batch coming by Friday. RY4, not Mboro though, and not all strength's. Are you guys using the black ones, or brown atomizers.

I do not understand, i have been vaping the Mints very happily, along with most customer's. I did address the issue, and am not going to take chances with the Fridaym manuf. You will see. i will make all ya smile.

I wish I was in Cina now, cause heads would be rolling. Are you vaping the mint atomizers?

I think that originally the VK ats were designed to work 901 atomizers but the manufactures later decided that they could make more money selling a cartridge that doesn't work with a 901 battery (that way you will have to but new batteries with the cartridges). Probably some of the Smilin customers have the older designed cartridges. Basically they dumped their older cartridges on some of the newer buyers. I am making assumptions here...but I bet the people who are dissatisfied right now could put their atomizers on a 901 battery and they will work fine.

COOL - The new VK carts work GREAT on Bloog and Red Dragon bats!!! NO noise and amazing vapor. Also, they fire up with my 901 USB passthrough - but not great vapor. It is always nice to know that we have alternatives to use with these products. I do LOVE the VK carts and bats together as well. Thanks you Steve.

Also like you said you have to to drag long and slow. Probably because of air leakage around the cart. to batt connection. All in all they are good. I'm not experienced with ecigs cause this is the first one I have purchased and have only tried one other, the 51 my son bought. But I think the Vapor King and Vapor4life are the BOMB

Actually I don't see it as complaints so much as wondering why the carts let more or less air through them. My only experience has been with the 24mg, 16mg and now 8 mg and 0 mg. I'm totally satisfied with all. 24mg is way too high for me but you get a massive killer throat hit. 8mg is probably just right. Have to work it a little more but I get a great throat hit, lots of vapor and a great minty taste. I even enjoy the 0mg Mint just for the taste, even through I don't get any throat hit.



Paul, My next atomizers are being mauf. in new factory, smaller holes, and better vapor, draw. My last manuf, has more than 1 mold on the atomizers, accordiing to what I was told this morning. I directed them to this thread, so they can see for themsleves, my customers concerns. As you know, I strive to give to absolute best product I can. I will acheive in taking, what is a;ready a Great product, work out all the issues, and walla, we will have the BEST. I know, this is better than anything else I have ever used, and this is still, not good enough for me.

So, anyways, Erica, what I'm saying is, if this is the first Vapor King you've tried I'm sure it'll be better than what you have, or at least equal. For me, this has been my best experience with an ecig after having tried EVO (think that was a faulty battery and have more supplies on the way) and NJOY which I find okay but a little too mild.
